Bad Dreams and Feeling Watched

Jordyn's POV

December 30

"Stop!" I wake up to yelling and I look at Selene and she's stirring in her sleep. "Get off!" Shit.

I touch her to wake her. "Baby. I'm here, wake up." Her eyes widen and she slaps me and then I hear her gasp.

"Shit Jordyn! I'm sorry baby." I hold my hand up when she tries to touch me. I keep getting slapped. "Baby I'm sorry. I-I didn't realize it was you."

I get off the bed and go to the bathroom when I taste blood in my mouth. I look in the mirror and she cut my lip open. "Shit!" I whisper yell.

I hear her get out of the bed and walk towards the bathroom. "Fuck baby. I'm sorry." She grabs my face and examines. She sits me on the toilet and gets the med kit that Zarina keeps in the house. I hiss when she swabs at it. "I'm sorry baby." She apologizes with tears in her eyes.

Her hands shake as she goes to continue to clean it and I grab her hand. "Baby." She starts to sob. I sigh and grab her and pull her into my arms. "It's ok baby. It was an accident, right?" She nods still crying and I kiss the top of her head. "Then I'm ok. But baby," she looks up at me. "You need to go see someone. It's been happening ever since we've been back and I'm worried baby." She nods and I kiss her lips for reassurance.

"I will, baby. I promise. I'm so sorry." I shake my head and pick her up and we go back to the room and go to sleep. Her head on my chest and my arms around her. I look up at the ceiling and just watch the fan spin as the sun rises. I continue to stare after she wakes back up and goes to the restroom. I sigh rubbing my hands through my hair. These nightmares have been happening since we got back. And it always ends with her hitting me. Usually it's just my arm which I have the scratches to prove but I wasn't fast enough last night and now I look like I got my ass kicked. She kept saying she was fine and I didn't want to argue with her so I left it alone but they're only getting worse and she jumps more around me. I'm getting punished for what he did and I don't know if I can deal with it. "Hey." She says nervously walking back in.

"Hi." I say sounding harsher than I intended. She sighs and comes back on the bed and straddles me.

I look up at her and her face screams I'm not fine. "Jordyn I'm so sorry. Please forgive me I'm going to talk to someone." She says and starts kissing all over me. I hum when she starts sucking on my neck but I shake out of it. She lifts up and looks at me with worry. "Baby?"

I sigh and move her to beside me. "I'm gonna go to the gym." I say and get up from the bed to put my clothes on. I can see her from the corner of my eye staring at me. I finish getting dressed and go to her. "I'll let you know when I'm on the way back, alright?" She nods and then I kiss her lips.

"I-I love you Jordyn."

I freeze at the door and sigh. "I love you so much Selene." She gives a sad smile and I leave. I get to the gym and immediately go straight to the boxing area. I wrap my hands and put my gloves on and start punching the bag.

1 hour Later

Thud, thud. The sound of the chain holding up the bag rattles and my sweat flies off me every swing. "You've been at this for a while Jordyn." I hear Jade but ignore her. She walks to the other side of the bag and holds it steady. "Is there a reason why you're taking your anger out on this poor bag?" She tries to joke and I roll my eyes. "Is it Selene?"

I groan and leave the bag and go to the weights. "I came here to be alone."

She scoffs. "It's a public gym, asshole. You didn't want that much privacy." I roll my eyes as I curl the dumbbell. "What's up? And what happened to your face and arms? You get in the fight with a cat?"
