(A/N: hey y'all! To make up for the super sad chapter last time, I'm gonna make you Sokeefe shippers squeal. If you don't squeal at least once *in your head or out loud*, then you can comment on the last paragraph of this chapter and tell me what kind of Sokeefe oneshots you want next. And I promise to take them into consideration and try to write something with that idea. *With credits to the person* Okay, enjoy!)

(Sophie's POV)

Me and Keefe had just put the kids to bed, and we were about to get in bed when Keefe took a deep breath and took both of my hands.

"We don't get date nights anymore, ever since the kids came, so... Would you wanna-"

"Go on a date with you?" I asked, giggling when Keefe blushed. "I don't know, I'm kinda out of your league."

"I mean, you're the most beautiful elf in the world, besides me, so I think the first and second most beautiful elves are kinda in each other's leagues." Keefe teased.

"Keefe, I'm kidding. Of course I wanna go on a date with you, stupid." I giggled. Keefe blushed.

"Right. I was um... I was joking too."

"Whatever you say, Hunkyhair." I replied, getting up from the bed and offering my hand. He took it and spun me around, making me blush.

"See?" He teased, tilting his head with a smirk. My heart fluttered as he leaned in. "I know you better than anybody, so I think I can handle making you swoon."

"Wanna bet?" I asked. Keefe faked a dramatic gasp.

"Who are you and what have you done with Foster?" Keefe teased. I rolled my eyes.

"I just wanna beat your sorry butt." I replied.

"I have a very cute butt, for your information." He said matter of factly. I couldn't help grinning.

"But fine, if you wanna lose miserably, then I'll agree to your bet. If you don't swoon, blush, kiss me, or make a move on me the entire night, you get to give me a dare I can't refuse. And the same goes if I win." Keefe decided. I smirked and shook his hand.

"Deal."

Keefe dragged me downstairs and we light leaped to Havenfield, sneaking into the Grove.

"Why are we here?" I asked. He smirked.

"This is where we kissed for the first time." He said. My eyes widened and I fought hard not to blush.

"Aww come on... I thought that would work." Keefe complained.

"It takes a lot more than that to break me." I replied knowingly.

"Oh, really?" Keefe leaned in closer as I realized my back was flat up against a tree. "So then why are you staring at me?"

"Because you're right in front of me!" I exclaimed.

"Okay... And why are your emotions saying that you wanna hold my hand?" Keefe asked.

"Because it's a habit!" I replied. "And you're very annoyingly persuasive."

"So you don't wanna hold my hand? Or kiss me?" Keefe asked.

"You can't trick me, Sencen." I said firmly.

"Or can I?"

"Stop asking dumb questions!"

"Or maybe you think they're dumb questions when you're not aware of what you want. Face it, Foster, you want me." Keefe said proudly.

"That's literally why I married you, Mr. Obvious." I said, smiling with amusement.

Keefe picked up a Panakes blossom and tucked it behind my ear, pushing my hair back. I couldn't breathe cause he was so close. And so... Mesmerizing.

Our eyes met, and his eyes flicked from my lips to my eyes again as he whispered, "I know I crack a lot of jokes, Sophie, but that doesn't mean I don't care. I care about you more than you can imagine. And I shoved those feelings away for so long that now that I let them go... I can't bottle it up again."

My heart fluttered as he leaned even closer, our lips just a breath away from each other.

"And... Maybe my dad was right about one thing, for once. The emotions in the heart are way stronger than any others. So..." He chuckled, a soft husky sound that made my heart melt. "So... Maybe you're a challenge that's worth it. Actually, no, you're definitely worth it. You're worth everything."

My cheeks flamed and I was sure Keefe saw them. But he either ignored them or didn't care because I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.

I swear there were fireworks shooting through my body.

Finally we broke away and Keefe exclaimed: "I won!! Hunkyhair wins again!"

I rolled my eyes playfully. "Yeah, yeah, we get it. Let's get this over with. What's my dare?"

"You have to agree to have a date night with me every night." Keefe replied. I smiled.

"Okay."

He guided me to the lake and we laid back on the grass, staring up at the stars.

"The stars are so beautiful." I whispered.

"You know what else is beautiful?" Keefe asked.

"What?"

"You."

I smiled and blushed, scooting closer so he could put his arm around me. I could hear his heartbeat as I laid my head on his chest.

"Well," I mumbled. "I'd say this is a successful date night."

"Definitely. Ooh wait, we should have a Foster blushing contest." Keefe decided.

"Nuh-uh. You would win too easily. You don't need another ego boost." I teased.

"Fiiine." He mumbled. "But it's nice to know I would win."

There were a couple moments of silence between us as we stared up at the stars.

"Keefe? Can I ask you something?" I whispered.

"Yeah, sure."

"Do you ever wonder what life would be like if we had never met?" I asked quietly.

"Simple answer: I would still be single. Because there's no one in the world like you, and you are all I want." Keefe whispered. I tilted my head up to look at him, and he looked at me lovingly.

"Well, I don't think I would be single." I replied.

"WHAT?" Keefe exclaimed as I giggled.

"I'm kidding." I said between laughs. "You are the love of my life, Keefe Sencen. Forever and always."

Keefe kissed the top of my head, and we both fell asleep like that, staring at the stars.

*THIS IS LAST PARAGRAPH BTW* Hope that was romantic enough for you guys!
