ship: hizashi yamada + shōta aizawa.

The first chill of autumn had settled over the city, prompting people to pull out their cosiest sweaters and warmest blankets. At the home of pro heroes Hizashi Yamada and Shōta Aizawa, the evening had settled into a comfortable routine. The day's work was done, and the world outside could be forgotten for a few precious hours.

Hizashi, better known to the public as Present Mic, was bustling around the kitchen, his usual energetic self slightly toned down by the day's events. The scent of hot chocolate wafted through the air, a sweet reminder of the comforts of home. He hummed softly to himself, a cheerful tune that contrasted with the quiet that usually surrounded Aizawa.

Aizawa, known as Eraser Head, sat on the couch, his eyes closed as he rested his head against the backrest. His ever-present sleeping bag was draped over his shoulders, a testament to his need for warmth and comfort. He listened to Hizashi's humming, feeling the tension of the day melt away.

When Hizashi finally joined him, two steaming mugs in hand, he smiled down at his husband. "Hey, Sho," he said softly, handing one of the mugs to Aizawa. "Got something special for us."

Aizawa took the mug, his fingers brushing against Hizashi's in a silent show of gratitude. "Thanks," he murmured, his voice still heavy with the day's fatigue.

Hizashi set his own mug down on the coffee table and then turned to Aizawa, a hopeful expression on his face. "Can we please put on my favourite movie and snuggle up with hot chocolate?" he asked, his eyes bright with anticipation.

Aizawa opened his eyes, looking up at Hizashi. A small smile played at the corners of his lips, a rare and precious sight. "You don't need to ask, love," he replied, his voice soft but filled with affection.

Hizashi's face lit up with joy as he moved to set up the movie. He had a special place in his heart for old classic films, the kind that brought a sense of nostalgia and comfort. Tonight's choice was one of his favourites, a feel-good romantic comedy that always managed to lift his spirits.

As the movie began, Hizashi settled onto the couch beside Aizawa, pulling a warm, fluffy blanket over both of them. Aizawa shifted, allowing Hizashi to snuggle up against him, their bodies fitting together perfectly. Hizashi's head found its usual resting spot on Aizawa's shoulder, and Aizawa's arm wrapped securely around Hizashi's waist.

They sipped their hot chocolate in comfortable silence, the movie's light hearted scenes playing out in front of them. Hizashi's laughter filled the room at all the right moments, a sound that Aizawa cherished more than he could ever express.

Aizawa glanced down at Hizashi, taking in the way his eyes sparkled with delight, the way his smile seemed to light up the entire room. It was moments like these that reminded Aizawa just how lucky he was to have Hizashi in his life.

"You know," Aizawa said quietly, his voice almost drowned out by the movie, "I love seeing you this happy."

Hizashi looked up at him, his eyes softening. "Sho, you make me happy. Every single day."

Aizawa's heart swelled with emotion, and he leaned down to press a gentle kiss to Hizashi's forehead. "And you do the same for me, Hizashi."

As the movie continued, they remained wrapped in their own little world of warmth and love. Hizashi's hand found Aizawa's, their fingers intertwining in a silent promise of forever. The world outside ceased to matter; all that mattered was this moment, the peace they found in each other's presence.

The movie's climax brought a tear to Hizashi's eye, and he sniffled softly, wiping it away with the back of his hand. Aizawa noticed, his grip on Hizashi's hand tightening slightly. "Hey, you okay?" he asked, concern lacing his voice.

Hizashi nodded, a watery smile on his face. "Yeah, just... it's a happy ending. It gets me every time."

Aizawa chuckled softly, his thumb brushing over Hizashi's knuckles. "You've got a big heart, Zashi. That's one of the things I love most about you."

Hizashi's smile widened, and he snuggled closer to Aizawa, feeling completely at ease. "I love you, Sho. So much."

"I love you too, Hizashi," Aizawa replied, his voice filled with sincerity. "More than you'll ever know."

As the movie came to an end, Hizashi stretched, a contented sigh escaping his lips. "That was perfect," he said, his voice filled with satisfaction.

Aizawa nodded, his own contentment mirrored in his eyes. "It was."

They remained on the couch for a while longer, savouring the last of their hot chocolate and the warmth of each other's company. Eventually, Hizashi yawned, and Aizawa knew it was time to call it a night.

"Come on," Aizawa said, standing and offering Hizashi his hand. "Let's get some sleep."

Hizashi took his hand, allowing Aizawa to pull him to his feet. They made their way to the bedroom, still wrapped in their blanket, a tangible reminder of the love and warmth they shared.

As they climbed into bed, Hizashi curled up against Aizawa, his head resting on Aizawa's chest. Aizawa's arms wrapped around him, holding him close.

"Goodnight, Sho," Hizashi murmured, his voice heavy with sleep.

"Goodnight, Zashi," Aizawa replied, pressing a kiss to the top of Hizashi's head.

In the quiet of their bedroom, they drifted off to sleep, their hearts full and their bond stronger than ever. Because in the end, it was the simple moments like these that made their love so special. And as long as they had each other, they knew they could face anything the world threw their way.
