𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 Freya's appointment with Dr. Abrams, the family didn't treat her any different, as those were her wishes, but that still didn't stop them from worrying about her, especially Elijah, Ava, and Stevie, whom she was the closest to.
Freya was prescribed donzepil, which is used to treat Alzheimer's disease, or Mild Cognitive Impairment. Dr. Abrams did say that the use has not been shown to change the progression of the disease, only manage it.
Freya stood in front of the living room mirror touching up her powder, then placed it back in her purse. Today was Erica's birthday, and Freya wanted to go out shopping alone for a birthday present for her, to feel like she had some sort of independence.
"Freya, are you sure this is a good idea?" Elijah asked as he sat on the couch flipping through the newspaper.
Freya turned around to face her brother, then spoke. "I'm sure Elijah. I want to do this on my own, and I want to pick up a cupcake for her as well. I know they will have a cake, but I know she has always enjoyed the cherry vanilla ones."
Elijah had a sinking feeling in his stomach, a sense of dread, something telling him not to let his sister go on her own, but he also remembered what Ava, Stevie and even Jenna told him, independence is important. "All right. If you need me, give me a call."
Freya embraced her brother, then said. "I will. Don't worry, so much. I swear, you have always worried."

In Bobby and Ava's Encino Hills residence, the husband and wife set up for Stevie's birthday celebration with the help of Jimmy and Jenna, as well as Maverick.
Ava and Jenna set the table with Diana's favorite china from England, the china that was only brought out for special occasions, while Bobby, Jimmy, and Maverick, were out in the back yard grilling the steaks. As Ava set the silverware on the table, the front door opened. "Hello?" Stevie called, and she and Connor walked into the foyer
"In the kitchen sweetheart." Ava smiled
Ava and Connor walked into the kitchen, hand in hand, and the brunette set her purse on the chair and embraced het mother and aunt. "Hi mom, hi auntie." Stevie smiled
Ava smiled as she returned her daughter's embrace. "Hi sweetheart, happy birthday." she smiled then kissed her daughter's forehead, then embraced Connor. "Hi Connor."
"Thanks mom." Stevie smiled
Connor smiled as he embraced the brunette. "Hi Ava."
"Happy birthday." Jenna smiled as she embraced the blonde, then smiled when she noticed the fresh highlights in her hair. "Hey, did you get fresh highlights in your hair?"
