*At Gray's company*
*Late Afternoon*

The afternoon sun cast a warm glow through the windows of Matthew's cabin. Matthew and Moris sat across from each other at the large mahogany desk, their expressions serious as they discussed the upcoming event.

Moris: Sir, I need to discuss something important with you.

Matthew looked up from his papers, his attention fully on Moris.

Matthew: What’s on your mind?

Moris: We have a high-profile business event coming up. Andrew, Daniel, and Olivia will all be in attendance.

Matthew raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

Matthew: What’s the event about?

Moris: It’s a major conference where key industry players will discuss new partnerships and investments. Andrew and Daniel are significant figures in this, and Olivia will be there as well. It’s an opportunity for us to make influential connections and secure new deals.

Matthew considered this, his mind running through the potential ramifications.

Matthew: And what’s the concern?

Moris: Bringing Kate to such an event, especially with Andrew and Olivia present, could be risky. It might draw unnecessary attention and potentially jeopardize her safety.

Matthew sighed, clearly torn.

Matthew: I understand the concern, but I want her close during such an important time. It’s a major part of our lives right now.

Moris: I get that, but for both her safety and the success of the event, it’s best if she remains out of the public eye.

Matthew nodded, acknowledging the validity of Moris’s concerns.

Matthew: Alright. I’ll make sure she knows the situation and discuss the best course of action with her.

Moris: Thank you. We need to approach this with caution to ensure everything goes smoothly.

The discussion concluded with a mutual understanding. Matthew and Moris left the office, their thoughts focused on the complex situation ahead.

*At Gray's Mansion*
*Late Evening*

The evening was settling in with a sense of calm and warmth at the mansion. Matthew and Moris had left for the office at morning, leaving Ava and Kate to enjoy a rare moment of peace. The two women had grown close over the past few days, their bond almost like that of sisters. They were in the living room, surrounded by laughter and the playful chaos of their antics.

Kate: Ava, I still can't believe how well we've gotten along. It's like we've known each other forever.

Ava: I know! It’s amazing. It feels like we're family now. So....me and Moris, we are together now.

Kate: oh my God, that's so good. Since when?

Ava: it's been few days. Oh and what about you?

Kate: what about me?  *she asked being confused*

Ava: Did you and Matthew.....hanky panky???   *she said teasingly*

Kate gasped at her reply. As she was about to hit her with pillow, but she ran away.

They giggled and chased each other around the room, their laughter echoing through the halls. John, the ever-loyal bodyguard, joined in the fun, his usually formal demeanor softened by their infectious energy. He played along, pretending to be a bumbling giant while Ava and Kate darted around him.
