Ying had been following Orm through every store they could get into, suggesting many stores but Orm couldn't bring herself to buy one that wasn't her type. Now, they were at the last store Ying knew had the best quality.

Upon entering, Ying spotted the owner's daughter and they chatted for a while.

"Is she your girlfriend?" Freen asked, and Ying shook her head. As much as she liked the sound of it, she didn't want to lie to her friend.

"Just one of my team," she said, but Freen squinted her eyes, clearly not believing her. Lingling just shrugged.

"P' Ying, I'm going to get this one," Orm shouted pointing to a Mountainpeak Aero R4700.

Ying gave her a thumbs-up, and Orm smiled at her. They checked all the parts before taking it out of the store.

"She's a keeper," Freen whispered to Ying before returning inside. "Better make your move or you'll lose your chance."

"What did she tell you? And who is she? She looks handsome," Orm said as she tried to use her bike.

"She's Freen. She just said good luck for our team," Ying replied, relieved that Orm had bought the bike.

Fortunately, Ying had brought her own bike, so Orm used it while Ying walked earlier. Now, they were biking on the highway, taking advantage of the bike lane.

They were exchanging different topics when it suddenly rained heavily. There was no shelter nearby.

"Stop and get down. Use my hoodie so you won't be too cold," Ying said, taking off her hoodie to reveal her sleeveless shirt. Orm, who was easily cold, accepted it before they got on their bikes again and pedaled a bit faster to reach the nearest shelter shed.

"My house is just four houses away. You stay here, and I'll go get you dry clothes and an umbrella," Ying said.

"Wouldn't it be better if I come with you?" Orm suggested.

"The rain is too heavy, and you might get into an accident. Just stay here for me," Ying insisted. Orm nodded, knowing she wasn't very good in heavy rain either.

She hugged herself as Ying left. It was too cold, and almost half of her body was drenched.

She was waiting for Ying to return when she saw a familiar figure running away from one of the houses nearby.

"Lingling Kwong?" she muttered. Her eyes widened when a guy ran out of the house too and pulled her. Lingling tried to let go, but the guy, who she recognized as Win, didn't let her. Without hesitation, Orm ran towards them, even though it was still raining.

"Let me go, you jerk! I'm breaking up with you " Lingling exclaimed, slapping Win in the face. Earlier, after they had parted, Win had told her he was going to meet his friends because of an emergency. Lingling had believed him, but then, someone had emailed her a picture of Win entering an unfamiliar house with a girl in his arms. Using her computer skills, Lingling had found the location of the house and gone there. Upon entering, Lingling could already hear pleasurable voices. She hoped it wasn't Win, but when she saw an ajar door and saw her boyfriend on top of another girl, reality hit her. She accidentally hit a picture frame, which made a sound that caught the couple's attention.

"Please, Babe, I can explain," Win begged, knowing he had messed up.

"There's nothing to explain. We're done, what I saw is enough, Win. Let me go," Lingling said, trying to break free from Win's embrace.

Win was about to reach for her again when a tall figure stood between them.

"Don't," Orm's serious voice made Win back off. He didn't realize she was so tall until she was in front of him.
