EP 1 // KEIKO KANA'S POV

THE DAY WHERE I LOST MY ABUSIVE MOM..

I was restrain to be in the room forever since I failed my cooking with my mom, she's always stare at me death glares which makes me mess up everything she blames everything on me even my siblings, it was their fault not mine..

I sob down on to my pillow and wished I was born in another family which is too late.

I have nothing to do in my room just read some books, the reason why my mom hates me and thinks I'm unlucky it's because of my ugly eyes that was caused when I was born.

Heterochromia was the first thing I hear from my dad, he barely goes home and we see him get bruises and blood.

I think some good times with my dad and other siblings but.. when I go outside some kids look at me weirdly cause of my condition, they say some rude comments like 'demon' 'weirdo' or 'Creep'.

I can't even keep my smile up since all the comments from other kids.. but one day, that day where I meet a boy in the woods..

"Hey! What are you doing? Getting all those peaches without permission"
He says, like.. yelling at me.

"Uh.. s..sorry."
I say stuttering which me feel anxienty and embarrassed by my stuttering, I look down not looking at him in the eye

"I'm sorry if I'm yelling at you but, you can have the peaches.. I'm juli anishinikawa"
He says calmly, I didn't look at him I'm scared if he thinks I'm weirdo..

"I'm Keiko kana-chan.. Do you think I'm weird?"
I said waiting for his response

"Not really, Stop looking down."
He said ordering me to look at him, I slowly looked at him..

And see him with a mask covering his mouth, his eyes were green and he has slick long hair, though if he's a boy or a girl..

"You have heterochromia? Lucky.."
He said pouting and I looked at him disbelief

"Huh- Wait what? The hell did you said?"
I said still in disbelief, he is jealous cause I have heterochromia?

"Nothin- But hey wanna be friends?"
He said and I looked in surprised, a new friend..? I nodded slowly and he smiled closing his eyes.. I know he smiled

"Is this your first time making friends"
He said and I turn my head

"Actually my friend Gigi died to cancer.."
I stated and he looked at me shocked thinking I must be lonely.. well I am.

"So sorry for your friend rest in peace, I think your my neighbor.. well sorta"
He said and I started walking away and he followed me.

I blacked out.

And realized I'm in my room still, I heared my mom screamed behind the door.

I crawled to the corner of my bed, thinking my mom is going crazy.. she mustve seen my mess or my siblings, I know she's gonna abuse me more.

She opens the door wide open and she cover her own chest and I saw blood dripping, she fall down to the floor and I went over to get her.

I grabbed her by the clothes and pulling to the side of my bed and saw someone in the door.. taller and the smile is wide. The scent was different.. my mom didn't believe demons but is the person a demon?

"Well hello there little kiddo, what's your name? Is this your mom.."
He asked proudly and sound happy, I saw those eyes.. all colorful and.. uppermoon 2.. what does that mean

"I'm Keiko kana-chan.. who are you?"
I stuttered, trembling in fear and scared.. my mom's body is cold and her face is pale.

"I'm a demon! Oh.. I feel sorry for your mom, I was hungry. I'm douma"
He says.. douma? What the hell is that name.. no other neighbors or down the road knows douma.

"I don't feel sorry for my mom.."
I state and he puts his mouth on his lips in shock

"Oh! Well I have a deal for you.. if you gave me your mom, I'll give you 10 years to live! Or.. I'll eat you both alive, pick right now, have your time."
He said and I sweat down to my cheeks

I decided to give my mom with no reason and no idea what I'm doing.. I have dad and siblings left, so I don't care about my mom.

"That unexpected, thank you Keiko.. I shall remember you good bye!"
He said dissapeared in my room, I looked down on the door.. blood scattered down to my hands, did.. my dream came true? I don't know.. and I'm scared.

I ran out of my room the to the road where there's many people, I went over to my friend juli anishinikawa house..

Wait, did i call juli as my friend? No it's not the time to do dramatic things.

When I finally got to their door, it was open and decided to go inside without permission.. I'm scared if douma killed him or what..

I found blood on the floor and followed, I have brought a knife over to stab a person to the house.

I stood down to the door and saw juli anishinikawa Passed out on his bed not really knowing that there's a person holding a woman.. it's juli's mom and I think he's gonna eat juli.

I swung my knife at the demon where it landed on the head.

"GET AWAY FROM MY FRIEND!"
I yelled and tackled him to the floor.

"GET OFF ME KID!"
The demon said, with my bearfist I punched him to his weakness.. his neck

He scratched my eye and decided to chop him to pieces..

I grabbed the knife and started stabbing him, his heart, his head.. his legs and arm.

"Keiko kana what are you doing!?"
I heard from behind.. I looked behind and saw juli hugging his mom crying terribly..

"I.. came.. to.. rescue."
I said about to lost my breath from stabbing the demon.. the sunrise came up and the demon disintegrate to ashes.

I layed down on the floor feel like I helped someone who's about to get eaten.. my friend.. juli..

Somebody piggyback me outside where crowds are looking at us..

I hear ringing which hurts alot..

I cried out wanted to say something and I hear blur sound..

I think I fainted.. am i?.. don't know and don't remember..
