As soon as I opened my eyes, I knew something was different, it probably had to do with the fact that I wasn't in my room with the plate of chicken fried rice that I was eating.
What I did see was an empty alley.
"where am I" I mutter to myself
[Greetings, you are in *Drumroll* Remnant!!!!! *The crowd goes wild* now your ultimate goal is to defeat Salem and end her divorce battle with her ex-husband, so I gave you a skill that lets you buy Items with money from this world. You can buy pretty much any item from a multitude of universes, multiverse items are priced a little higher though. The good thing is that you only buy items for material costs. Anyway here is 100k from the value of your old life, you're a fox Faunus, and your aura is unlocked. So yeah, do whatever, take care of Salem if you can, otherwise all of Remnant will die...probably, at least a lot of people will as you know from the show.]
Once I finish reading that, a new window opens, it looks like any regular shopping site,

Hmmm, I have an Idea, I go to a government office and register as a citizen of Vale, I told them I was new and that I was in a village that was destroyed. While they did service me I couldn't help but notice the disgusted looks when I walked in nor was I deaf to the whispers. Vale may be more liberal but only as much can be when they fear your affiliation.
Quickly leaving the place with a new ID, and driver's License (they have test cars), I also got a few other documents while I was there, such as a passport, and a Vendor's License.
Looking around I tried to find a realtor or a for sale sign. It took me several hours of walking but I found the former. A small building called
The Silverson Group Realty
Walking in a younger woman greeted me with a customer service smile and a slight cringe. Ignoring it, I sat down in front of her as the stale office building air threatened to strangle me.
"so, what brings you to the Silverson Group today......sir?" she asked
"I would like to purchase a commercial property, preferably one with an upstairs, a shophouse" I explained
"of course, there are plenty of those in downtown Vale, have a look here," she said
Throughout the next several hours, we sifted through paperwork, before finishing up the paperwork leaving me with my own property.
The realtor gave me the keys to the shop and I left to check it out.
As I walked down the bustling streets of Vale, the weight of my new reality began to settle in. I had done it-I owned a piece of this world now. My own property, a small shop nestled between towering buildings, a blank canvas waiting for me to bring it to life.
I jingled the keys in my hand, the cold metal a tangible reminder of my fresh start. Each step toward the shop was filled with a mix of trepidation and excitement. What would I name it? How would I set it up? Could I really make a place for myself here, amidst the bloody evolution of this world?
Pushing open the door, I was greeted by the scent of dust and the sight of bare walls. This empty space, soon to be filled with shelves of Dust canisters, vials of potions, and crates of ammunition, held so much potential. Birch Tech. That's what I'd call it. A name that hinted at both the natural and the technological, at growth and innovation. It was perfect.
