Chapter Eight ╱ The Rumor Szn One . Ep Six
The next day at school, Isa walked into SLT's earlier than anyone else to help Amerie set up the desks and chairs. She didn't really like doing this but it was extra time with Amerie so she wasn't complaining.
"Oh, apparently I'm having a party at my place tonight. I really hope you can come." Amerie told her.
"Of course I will, but what do you mean by apparently you are?" Isa asked while pulling a chair into a desk.
"It wasn't really my idea. Darren found out I have my house to myself and took matters into their own hands." Amerie explained and Isa chuckled.
"I should've guessed that." Isa spoke while moving the last chair before Jojo and the SLT's made their way into the classroom.
Jojo did her usual introduction for the class and about what they were doing for the day and then sent the SLT's students down to the gym to play some game that Isa made up an excuse to get out of.
She only did that because she genuinely just wasn't in the mood for the bullshit and knew Jojo wouldn't care.
And a careless Jojo just let her get away with it even though she didn't believe a word and hardly listened to the teenage girl told her.
Jojo told her to at least just pay attention to the other students and understand what they message is but from the little bit she paid attention to all she noticed was that Spider was such a disrespectful bitch at times. But, he was her best friend so she wouldn't hold it against him.
After class, Isa caught up to Amerie. "Hey, I thought of an idea for our date." Isa greeted and Amerie smiled right before she spoke back.
"Yeah, what is it?" Amerie questioned.
"Can't say, it's a surprise." Isa answered and quickly ran over to Spider and Ant before Amerie could answer her and try to talk her into telling her.
"You told her what you're doing for the date, didn't you." Spider confidently stated and Isa shook her head no with a huge smile plastered across her face
"Nope. I'm keeping it a secret." She replied. "And you guys better not tell her." She added while they made their way over to the place where most of the basketball team sat. Isa felt a bit out of place but didn't let it bother her too much.
"You really think we'd tell her?" Ant asked and Isa shrugged.
"I don't know, I thought Dusty wasn't a piece of shit and look where we are." She shrugged and Dusty furrowed his brows off of her. Apparently he thought she wouldn't have the nerve to say that in front of him.
