𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗬 𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠, i slide my white hooded coat off and throw it onto the green floral arm chair which sits in the corner of the room

noticing that hanna's asleep, i turn to look at the x-ray of her leg which resides on the wall "what a hefty break...oh! no pun intended" i snigger to myself while crossing my arms

hearing movement in the bed, i turn around with a smile on my face "did you miss me little sister?"

staring at me in shock and confusion, hanna speaks up "holly...? they said you ran away?!"

uncrossing my arms, i tell her "yeah, i heard that too...but why would i willingly run away from a place i loved so much"

in her confused and groggy state, she questions "what happened to you? what made you leave?"

"it's complicated han..really complicated, worse than algebra"

"what happened when you left the barn? we all wanna know, why was your bag with alis body?"

letting out a small sigh, i reply "you already know, the four of you combined, you remember more about that night than you think you do"

turning my head as i hear a door slam, i listen to hanna say "where did you even go hol? to meet a boy..noel? mums been a wreck since you disappeared. please just come home"

letting out a small sarcastic scoff as i turn to my twin, i speak "noel? you guys seriously think i'd date noel khan? please, i wouldn't go near him with a ten foot pole"

"so where did you go? i'm your sister..tell me the truth"

"it won't make any difference han and it's better for the both of us if you don't know"

"how can you say that?" the confused blonde questions

"because i know. if you think the truth is some big shiny disco ball of purity, then go ahead and try it..be honest..see what it gets you. telling the truth to the wrong person at the wrong time is how we ended up where we are. take it from me...you're better off with a really good lie" i truthfully tell my younger twin

"we?" she murmurs

ignoring my sister, i turn around to look at the clock on the wall before turning back to the bed "would you look at that, it's my time to get out of here"

grabbing my coat off the chair, i hear hanna say "where?"

"i was so scared that you were gonna die, so i came back, i didn't care how dangerous it was, i just had to come see you" i tell her while sliding my coat back on, once i throw the fluffy hood on my head, i say "you know, i should really do something about A...that bitch is getting on my nerves" before walking straight out the room, not taking a single look back at her

god do i feel bad about abandoning my mother and my twin but it's for the best...right??
