Keitaro and the butler were seen descending into the deepest depths of the mansion where no soul would ever dare walk to.
It was the basement, there was no need to make it more dramatic than it had to be.
Keitaro sighed to himself a bit as he noticed the trace of the curse, curse energy the further down they went.
The more they descended, the more Keitaro felt like the air was getting colder and damper.
He started to notice a bunch of weird symbols on the wall, was that a cross?
Keitaro walked toward the symbol on the wall, he placed his hand on the symbol and he felt it.
That energy he felt before back in Nepal, although it didnt feel pure at all.
It felt demonic in nature, it felt so dark.
Why was it so goddam dark? He felt as if he was staring into an abyss.
"Silas, how long were those seals there?"
"They have been here ever since this mansion was built, sir"
Keitaro had a thoughtful look on his face as he heard the man's words.
That cross, it didnt feels holy at all, matter of fact it felt more cursed than cursed energy itself, it was disgusting.
Keitaro's eyes look through all the scriptures on the wall, it seems as if it was recounting a story.
The story seems to go something along the lines of.
Once ago, there was once a creature, this creature could be called the prettiest of them all.
This creature could also be called incredibly smart in clever, its powers were overwhelming.
However one day this creature decided that it was better than its creator.
In order to prove that it was the best, it attacked the creator's greatest creation and made them devour a fruit, a fruit that stored everything that was bad.
One bite from the fruit and all hell broke loss.
The original sin.
As Keitaro read those scriptures, his eyebrow slightly raised, this was sounding like some of the stories his grandma used to tell him.
If he remembers correctly this specific story should be at the beginning of the bible.
Keitaro was lost in thought as he kept walking down toward where he kept his prisoner.
The staircase finally ended in a massive circular chamber. In the center of the chamber, a colossal, pulsating stone platform dominated the place.
Keitaro could see thick chains were bounding a shadowy figure to the platform, from the look of the chains they were not going to hold out long.
His seals seem to be the only reason that the creature seems to be bound there.
As they got closer to it, the curse was starting to get agitated. the creature's eyes were glowing an eerie red color.
Keitaro felt Edgar hide behind him, that was probably the correct reaction to have while seeing a special grade curse while being a semi-grade 2 sorcerer.
The creature roared a bit enraged as what seemed to be a chain made out of curse energy bound it to its spot.
It roared clearly in pain.
"It's agitated," Silas murmured, his voice barely audible over the creature's cries.
"I can feel it," Keitaro replied as he gazed at the old seal that was there before he placed his.
He could see the same marking that was there before.
That was very interesting for him, he wondered if this was all related.
The chances that he would have to face such a creature were pretty high and considering England was a pretty religious country he could see himself fighting such a being.
Welp that was something else added to his bingo list of shit to do.
That was quite interesting, it seemed as if the seal they had placed on the creature earlier still had some power behind it.
"A relic of the old magic," Silas explained, his voice steady. "It keeps the curse contained."
Keitaro nodded his head before just looking toward where the creature was sealed.
He walked toward the creature that was currently in the chain.
"Release"
As those words left Keitaro's mouth, all the seals around were disabled as the creature was now free to do whatever it wanted to do.
"What are you doing," Silas said looking scared.
"Filthy Worthington!"
The creature's voice roared out as soon as its eyes landed on Edgar.
"Hello there!"
Keitaro had a friendly look on his face as he looked at the creature.
"Are you affiliated with those filthy devils...?"
'A lot of hate in there' Keitaro thought to himself as he watched the curse, curse energy spike to the level of 2 special grade combine.
Wasn't this just fun?
"Kill"
As the creature tries to end Edgar's life, it stops.
Mear inches away from its head, Keitaro outstretched Tanto was seen, the real danger was in the energy coating the blade.
It was a reverse curse technique........ by instinct the curse immediately realized that he would get murdered.
The creature seem to have witnessed his death about 120 times before it decided to calm down.
"So you possess some intelligence?"
Keitaro added with a thoughtful look as he saw the creature stop, it was smarter than he had given it credit for.
Keitaro heard the growl coming from the creature, it was getting agitated....but if Keitaro's knowledge was correct, this curse should realize that he had no chance at winning this fight.
They were just going to talk.
A/N....
Goddam, that was quick.
Anyway, I would like to thank you all for the support, never thought a one shot I made in like 3 weeks could rank so high but we up.
