Not Tim POV but imagine it's everything Tim told you that happened.

You had to work night patrol which meant that Tim was on night shift at home with 2 month old Allison aka Ally.

After 2 hours of Ally fighting her sleep she finally went to bed at 11 but Tim knew that meant he had only 2-3 hours before so he quickly went to sleep.

You looked at the clock in your shop *2:30am* and you decided to pick up your phone and text him

*Text*

You: How's daddy's first night alone?

Tim: Rough but I've got it

You: Sleep at all?

Tim:Well she slept from 7-9 and then 11-2. So I've gotten 3 hours so far.

You: What's she doing now

Tim:*sends a picture of her eating a bottle in his arms* I'm sure she'll go back to sleep though. How's your night

You: Hopefully and not too bad just missing you guys.

Tim: I know baby it's only for a week. I had to do it last week.

You: Yes but that's why it sucks because it's been so long since we've slept in the same bed. Well what little sleeping we get

Tim chuckled at that text and responded back "yeah but she's worth it" You smiled and went back to work

Tim looked down at a wide eyed little Ally and groaned "you're not gonna sleep for me are you" she smiled slightly causing a light chuckle from him.

He smiled putting her now empty bottle on the nightstand and leaning back with her on top of him. She starts to fuss as she knows he's trying to get her to sleep. "It's okay baby you can just lay there." He says turning the TV on to watch whatever he could find in the middle of the night.

Luckily Tim didn't have to work tomorrow so sleep wasn't a problem tonight.

After awhile he glance back at the clock *4:00* then down at the little girl on his chest. His eyes met with hers. Their blue eyes greeting eachother causing a smile from both. "Why aren't you sleeping baby. All you have to do is sleep so why aren't you doing" he said pleading with her as he starts to feel sleepy.

He stood up and walked to her nursery. They didn't use it much but there was a rocking chair and there and he figured it might help. He looked down at his phone as he sat down and texted you.

Tim: She's still awake

You: She said that she needed time with Dada

Tim: She can have time with me tomorrow while you sleep. For now we need to sleep

You: I'll be home in 3 hours and then you can sleep.

Tim: No baby you're going to sleep when you get home. This is what I signed up for but I'm still allowed to complain as are you.

You: Good husband

Tim chuckled at that and looked down and saw her eyes were finally closed. Thank god. He quickly took her back into their room and laid her in the bassinet. His eyes closed as soon as he hit the pillow.

~~~
You arrived home 3 1/2 hours later to see them both still sound asleep.
