A knock at the door broke Jungkook's concentration, and moments later, it creaked open to reveal Mingyu.
His expression hardened as he questioned why Mingyu was here.
Mingyu replied, "I'm here because I understand what you're going through. I know you better than you think, and I know what you're contemplating."
Jungkook sighed, pleading, "Please, don't bother me right now. I'm incredibly angry."
But Mingyu persisted, insisting, "Don't worry. You can share anything with me. I'm your friend, remember? You trust me?"
Reluctantly, Jungkook admitted, "Yes, I trust you. You've always been there for me. I'm grateful for that."
Encouraged, Mingyu pressed, "Then tell me, what's bothering you? Why are you behaving like this?"
Jungkook hesitated before opening up about his frustrations.
Once Jungkook finished expressing his feelings, Mingyu responded, "Are you still thinking about that incident? It happened years ago. Forget about it."
But Jungkook shook his head, his voice firm with resolve. "No, I can never forget what happened that day. I despise rich people from the core. I hate them, hate them so much."
Mingyu listened attentively, his eyes filled with empathy. He reached out a hand and placed it gently on Jungkook's shoulder, offering silent support.
After a moment of understanding, he spoke softly, "I understand your feelings, Jungkook. It's okay to be angry, but letting it consume you won't solve anything. Remember, we're here to help people, regardless of their background. You're not alone in this. Let's find a way to work through this together."
Mingyu continued, his tone gentle yet firm, "Now, come on. Freshen up, clear your mind, and don't dwell on it too much. I'm here for you, always. Let's shift our focus away from this matter, at least for now, okay?"
Jungkook simply said, "Okay," and after chatting for a while, mingyu left.
Jungkook felt a little good after talking with his friend.
Late at night in his office, Jungkook noticed it was too late to go home. He quickly texted his family to say he'd stay at the hospital, then focused on his work again. After a while, he checked the time and knew he had to check on the VIP patient. He put on his coat, got up, and left his office to see the patient.

On the other hand, it was already morning when Namjoon realized he hadn't told their parents about Taehyung being in the hospital and hurt.
He knew his mom would be very upset; she wouldn't forgive him easily for forgetting to share such important news. After imagining his mom's reaction, he nervously dialed his dad's phone number.

•At Kim's Mansion...
The Kim couple was already up. Ji-won was busy making breakfast, which was almost ready, while Soo-hyun was reading the newspaper. Suddenly, his phone rang, showing an incoming call, and he answered it, frowning after seeing the caller ID.
As Soo-hyun answered the phone call, he asked Namjoon, "Why are you calling me? Aren't you at home?"
Namjoon replied, "Dad, I need to tell you something."
Concerned, Soo-hyun asked, "What happened? Why do you sound so upset and afraid? Tell me what happened?"
Namjoon hesitated before explaining what happened the night before, how he got a call and found out about his brother's accident.
