When Jiwon heard what Soohyun said, she was shocked and frozen. After a while, she lost her balance, but her husband caught her.
She said "My son" with trembling lips, and Soohyun reassured her "He's okay, nothing else happened to him." He added, "Come on, we need to hurry to the hospital."
Jiwon wondered how such a sudden accident could happen when everything was fine just last night. They were laughing and playing, and now, how could her son have had an accident? She couldn't understand it.
Beside her, Soohyun was also worried, but he put his concerns aside for now. Their main focus was getting to the hospital as fast as possible.
As they got into the car, Jiwon's nervous energy showed in her tapping thighs, a sign of her anxiety. Soohyun started the engine and drove determinedly.
Meanwhile, Namjoon, their eldest son, quickly sent the hospital's location to his father's phone. Soohyun glanced at the message, feeling the urgency as he drove through the streets, focused on reaching the hospital quickly.
In the midst of their racing thoughts, both Jiwon and Soohyun held onto one hope – that their son would be safe. They clung to the possibility of a positive outcome as they rushed to the hospital, their hearts heavy with fear but hopeful for the best.

Namjoon paced back and forth in the hospital hallway, his phone glued to his ear as he tried to share the good news with his parents. But before he could finish, his dad's voice crackled through the phone, cutting him off.
"Dad, wait, I need to—" Namjoon's words were cut short as the line went dead, leaving him staring at his phone in disbelief.
Sighing in frustration, Namjoon shook his head. It seemed like he couldn't communicate, whether in person or on the phone. But as he looked towards his brother's room, a smile crept onto his face. Despite the disconnect with his dad, Namjoon was relieved that his brother was safe.
Feeling like he was in a comedy show, Namjoon exaggeratedly reenacted the phone call, gesturing wildly and pulling funny faces. "And then, just as I was about to tell him everything's okay, he hangs up! Can you believe it?"
But underneath the humor, guilt gnawed at Namjoon. It might be funny now, but he knew his mom would scold him later for not keeping them updated.
Just then, a nurse passed by, casting a curious glance in Namjoon's direction. With a sheepish grin, Namjoon quickly composed himself, pretending he wasn't just acting out a scene from a k-drama.
Turning his attention back to his brother's room, Namjoon's tension eased. His brother was safe, and that's all that mattered.
Meanwhile As Namjoon remained lost in his thoughts, unaware of Jungkook's presence as he arrived to check his brother, the young doctor observed him from a distance. Jungkook couldn't help but wonder what could be troubling Namjoon.
After attending to the patient in the VIP ward, Jungkook emerged from the room to find Namjoon still lost in contemplation. With a sigh, he approached Namjoon, clearing his throat to gain his attention.
"Mr?" Jungkook called out, his voice soft yet deliberate.
Startled, Namjoon's gaze snapped to Jungkook, recognizing the doctor who had been silently observing him moments ago.
Namjoon rose to his feet as he noticed Jungkook standing in front of him.
"Oh, doctor" Namjoon greeted, a hint of relief in his voice.
Jungkook met Namjoon's gaze with a calm demeanor, ready to address his inquiries.
"Can I meet my brother now?" Namjoon asked, his tone hopeful.
Jungkook nodded, his expression sympathetic yet professional. "Yes, you can, but the patient is unconscious. You'll have to wait until he regains consciousness" he explained.
"Okay, doctor" Namjoon replied, a sense of gratitude evident in his voice. "Thank you for saving my brother" he added sincerely.
Jungkook's smile was warm yet humble. "No need to thank me. It's my duty" he responded.
With a nod of acknowledgment, Jungkook excused himself, stating that he would return when the patient regained consciousness. Namjoon watched him depart, feeling reassured by his presence.
Taking a deep breath, Namjoon gathered his resolve and made his way towards the VIP room where his brother lay, his heart heavy with anticipation and hope for Taehyung's recovery.
................................
As Namjoon walked into the room, he felt a rush of relief. Seeing his brother lying there, even though he was unconscious, made him really thankful that he was safe. He went over to Taehyung's bed, feeling lighter now, as his earlier worry turned into a deep sense of comfort.
Softly, Namjoon leaned in and gave Taehyung a gentle kiss on his forehead. It was a simple thing to do, but it showed how much he cared and promised to look after him. Pulling back, Namjoon whispered quietly, his voice barely heard in the quiet room.
"You're safe now, Taehyung. I'm right here" he murmured, his words meant to comfort both himself and his brother.
As Namjoon leaned closer to Taehyung, he spoke gently while stroking his brother's hair, "Hey, Tae...It's me, your big brother" He paused, hoping for some sign that his unconscious brother could hear him. "I want you to know that I'm here with you, and I'm not going anywhere"
Feeling a lump in his throat, Namjoon fought back tears as he spoke. "I love you, little brother" he whispered, his voice barely audible.
It was a moment of closeness, a chance for Namjoon to show how much he loved and cared for his younger brother.
With one last look at Taehyung's peaceful face, Namjoon settled into the chair beside the bed, still holding his brother's hand.
In that moment, surrounded by the steady beeping of medical equipment and the soft light from the bedside lamp, Namjoon felt relieved that his brother was safe and wasn't going anywhere.
