"Daddy, since when are Hayes and I friends?" I asked.
"Pretty much since birth, honey." my dad answered.
"Do you think he is one to stay? Do you have got a best friend, too?" I asked my dad, again.
"I don't know, if he's one to stay. Yeah, I have got a best friend. I married her." he smiled. I nodded and ran to the telephone to ask Hayes to come over to play. His mom picked up but gave Hayes the phone right after.
"Hey Amy!" he said excited.
"Hey Hayes! I called to ask you if you want to play with me today?" I said, smiling.
"I would love to! But Madi asked me already," he said and my smile faded. Not that I don't like Madi, she is my best friend, but so is Hayes, "but I'm going to cancel my plans so we can play together!" he continued and my smile came back.
"Okay, see you at 3pm!" I hung up and ran back to my dad.
"Is Hayes coming over to play today?" he asked and I nodded, "He had plans with Madi before, but he said he's going to cancel them to play with me!" I smiled proudly and heard my dad whisper to himself,
"He is going to stay."
As you can see, I again started a new story. I feel like I'm absolutely going to keep that one!
