I closed my eyes, the smell of gasoline and the sound of revving engines fill my mind. I opened my eyes to see a flash of green light, the engines roared around me as we began to race around the track, once.....twice.. I was in the lead as we went around for the third time but halfway through I heard something, a commotion. I turned my head in the direction of the screaming , I saw a fire spreading through the crowd as scattered gun fire started. I didn't notice that while I was watching what was happening, I was slowly drifting towards it all. My bike crashed into a wall, I was thrown off as I tumbled away, landing in the grass, face first.

I could feel a thick, warm liquid spill down my face, red was all I could see before closing my eyes once again. I could feel the presence of a figure above me, I slowly opened my eyes to see a masked man in red and black, he had a gun in each hand. Another man was creeping up  behind him, he put one of the guns over his shoulder before shooting the man in the head, it was perfect.. the bullet hit the middle of his forehead and he didn't even look.. 'huh' I thought. The masked man threw his guns to the side, he picked me up, bridal style, while I just squinted at him, "God?" I question, my voice soft and quiet, I stared waiting for an answer, "yes." He spoke "hmm.." I hummed before closing my eyes for a third time.

I shot up, gasping, my hand over my chest, "oh.. it was just a dream.." I sighed with relief. I pulled off the blanket that covered my body, I realized that I wasn't in my normal pajamas but instead a hospital gown, I walked out of the bed and over to the door which just happened to have a mirror on the back of it. My hair was a mess, my face was bruised and bloody, my chest felt tight but not the normal anxiety type of tight more like someone's arms were wrapped around me, I lifted up the gown to see that a large part of my torso was wrapped up in bandages "please tell me I didn't get shot.. please.." I whispered, as I took a piece of the bandage and began to unravel it and to my surprise there was a bullet sized hole through the middle of my torso, my breathing began to get heavier, blood dripped out of the wound and onto the floor, "uhh.." I stared at the wound for a second before quickly wrapping the bandages back up.

I looked around the room hoping that my stuff was somewhere in here. There was a black bag on a table in the corner, I walked over the table and unzipped the bag, thankfully my stuff was in there, my clothes, my gear, my phone, and my helmet was on the table next to the bag just one thing was missing.. a cigar tin. I searched the rest of the bag and luckily the tin was in the front pocket. I grabbed my clothes, a white tank-top, cargos, and a flannel top, I walked into to the bathroom, I carefully took off the gown, once again staring at the wound.

I walked out of the bathroom, grabbing the bag and my helmet. While I was picking up my helmet I saw that my fingers were beat up and bloody but I mean there always like that since I chew on the skin around them.. I walked out the door and immediately a group of people rushed past me. "Ooookay" I spoke with a sassy tone. I walked through the halls watching people run by. I soon found the front door 'finally found the door!!!! I really hope my bike is here..' I thought as I walked out the door.

Unfortunately my bike wasn't there so I had to take a taxi. I stood on the sidewalk, waiting for a taxi to pass by 'come on.. come on', my hand was out, but at this point I wasn't paying any attention, just looking behind me at the hospital, I snapped out of it when I heard a loud honk from in front of me "you uh getting in?" A man said from inside a taxi "oh uh yeah sorry" I chuckled before getting in.  "So where you going?" He asked, "just take me to the closest diner." "you bet." After that conversation it went quiet, I took out my cigar tin, "uh no smoking please.." the man spoke while looking at me from the rear view mirror, "oh, no, no there's so cigarettes in this." I answered quickly "oh my bad" "no no it's okay I get it" "well this is it." I looked out the window, I honestly didn't realize we had stopped, but there the diner..right there, "oh thanks, here." I handed him fifteen dollars for the ride "thanks, have a nice day!" "You too" I shot him a smile before getting out the car.

I walked up to the diner and opened the door, a bell chiming above me. I walked over to a table and sat down, 'shit ' I thought, remembering I had been shot yesterday, though it didn't hurt a lot, except when I thought about it...I looked around the diner, wondering if one of the waitresses were nearby, so I could ask for a cup of coffee but instead of seeing one of the waitresses I saw a man... in a red and black suit. "You!" I stood up and walked over to his table, "me!" he said in a bubbly but kind of cocky tone, "what happened yesterday?" I questioned, sitting down at his table, "uh.. excuse me" he said holding up his pointer finger, I raised my eyebrow. He pointed his finger down at me "this is my  table." "Yeah yeah whatever" I said, slapping his gloved finger down. "What. Happened." I asked again, now leaning towards him, "i could know less about what your talking about" he said, again in that cocky tone, "at the track..ya know the explosion" I said trying to get a little more specific.

"Yep..." he began, "ok great.. now what happened?" "Eh eh" he held up his finger again, "you didn't let me finish." I rolled my eyes "ok.. then finish" I moved my hand as a gesture for him to continue, "yep... I don't know what your talking about" he finished, leaning backwards in his seat, I could see him smirking from underneath his mask. "You saved me.." I said, softening my tone to seem more vulnerable "uh... did I?" He seemed confused, but almost like he was faking it "maybe I did maybe I didn't" "so you admit it!" I slammed my hands on the dirty table, "ew" my hands were sticking to the table, he laughed loudly, "well see ya!" He hopped up and skipped out the diner, "wait!.. ugh!!" I tried to rip my hands from the table. "Oww" I finally got my hands off the table and immediately ran out the door.

I looked around the streets, waiting for a flash of red. I was running around the city with a bike helmet on my head and a bag around my neck. While I was running around I saw him.. the masked man. I ran faster and faster, trying to catch up with him, "HA!" I jumped on his back, wrapping my arms around his neck , "bleh..I.. uh..eh" he started choking as I pulled him into an alleyway, "okay okay! STOP IT!" I let go and jumped off his back, "What the hell?!" "Tell me what happened!!" I backed him into a corner, though he was much taller and more intimidating I think I was intimidating enough to get the answer out, "fine" he groaned, "someone attempted an assassination on someone who isn't supposed to die... yet" he winked "wait what..?" "Yeppity yep" " so ..your a superhero?" I asked, raising my eyebrow "oh hell nawwww" he said, sounding kind of offended, "I'm just here to kill I guess.." he shrugged "so you're a villain then?" I asked, "nooooooooo... I'm I don't know" "but you protect people right..? So a superhero!" "Sure..." he said pinching the bridge of his nose "then how come I don't know you?" "because I'm not like one of those big supers like uh Spidey boy and people don't really like me so.. tehe" he giggled, "so what's you're name?"

                                                                            "Deadpool"

"No.. like you're real name?" I asked, "you don't need to know"
