"Willow!", Amy called.  "Time for dinner!" As soon as I heard I came running up. Dinner was the best part of the day! I eagerly waited as Amy poured the kibble into my bowl. She laughed when she saw this. "Alright, Alright I'll hurry up." Once she was finished I immediately dove in. She smiled as she watched me eat. I made sure to eat every last piece. Now it was time for adventure. I barked at the door that led to the outside. Micheal opened the door. "Come back before the sun comes up!" He'd joke as I ran out. I ran on the trail that was all too familiar by now and took in the scents. Inside I was a tamed dog, but out here, out here I was free. I trotted around exploring for about an hour before an ear piercing sound reached my pinna. I yelped as I heard the boom. What was happening?! It continued, each one louder than the first. I whimpered as each reached my auricles. I was being attacked! It was the only explanation. I started running, maybe it was slow? The entity kept on making the sound. I ran faster. I don't know how far I ran, but when I stopped the sound had disappeared and my legs could barely carry me. I collapsed, panting. I assumed I had outrun the entity and was safe. I glanced around as I realized nothing looked or smelled familiar, I had never gone this deep into the woods before. I started to wander every which way but no matter where I went I couldn't find home. I'd whimper as I curled under a ledge. As I fell into sleep I knew four things: I was scared, I was cold, I missed my family, and worst of all? I was lost.
