ACT 1...
Disclaimer; Magic, or more accurately by its purest form; Mana, is a supernatural energy that exists in every living creature. Being highly intelligent creatures, it didn't take long for humans to harness this power to perform nature defying feats, now known as Magic.
In this world, the entire human population lived on a single enormous continent called the Great-Land which covered more than half of the earth's diameter. Within this vast land, the humans were divided into four massive countries based on the cardinal sides of a compass along with several other smaller countries between and around them.
Among these four countries, Aka; the Great Kingdoms, there was a long standing war for control of these smaller countries as well as national supremacy over each other. Until it was finally forced into a truce due to appearance of the South-Land's Monarchs, the most powerful squad of mage soldiers ever recorded.
With that, the 500 year war, filled with meaningless bloodshed was over and the Great-Land was thrown into a somewhat stable peace....
The year is 545...
In a small but popular town in the South-Land, under the late afternoon sun, the townspeople go about their daily activities, although their daily activity all had a touch of literal magic.
Like a farmer creating water from his hand to spray his plants or a builder who flies up, carrying a set of blocks to the top of an almost finished building.
The market was especially busy since the town was also a popular pit stop for travelers. A young travelling couple move around with happy faces before deciding to enter a trinket store.
"Welcome, welcome." The friendly-looking shop owner said as he steps away from the counter to approach them. "You look like you've travelled from far so why don't you take something here as a souvenir for your future child, huh?"
The couple smiles happily, especially the woman who rubs her swollen belly. "What do you recommend?" The man asked with a weird accent.
"Well, there are plenty options here. How about..."
As the owner goes on about his products, he fails to notice a small figure who sneaks past him and moves to the book section of the store.
The figure was a short young boy wearing a black hoodie and jeans with a characteristic bronze-coloured skin, snow white curly hair and eye brows along with a little mole on the tip of his nose. His mana infused navy blue glowing eyes widen in excitement once he finds the book he was looking for.
"Nice." He mumbled as he picks out the book, titled The Tales of Great Mages and begins to flip through it when a sudden loud throat clearing causes him to flinch. He turns slowly to find the store owner glaring at him. "Hi." He said with a shaky smile.
"Hello, Dominic." The owner answered with a seemingly friendly smile.
A brief moment later...
"Hey! Let me go! Hey!" Dom shouted as the store owner carries him using telekinesis out of the store and drops him on the ground.
"How many times have I told you? If you don't have any money, don't come here." The owner grumbled and Dom glares as he stands up.
"Come on, man. I'm super broke. And it's just one book that nobody wants to buy. Can't I just have it?"
"No." The owner said as he turns away.
Dom fumes and clenches his fists. "You stupid bald cheapskate!"
