"All you ever do is brag,
I hate the way you gloat!
So this is my goodbye to you."
And that was all she wrote.
I remember that time
Not to long ago.
Back when I bullied her
When I made her feel so low.
The way I loved to see her cry
To see her shiver and shake
What I didn't realize was
It was all a big mistake.
And then there was that time
I pushed her to the ground
But suddenly something strange appeared
A smile replaced her frown.
She smiled at me
Then she stood ever so tall
She turned and walked away from me
Behind her I didn't call.
Now as I'm alone
Reading this near-empty letter
I wish I hadn't bothered her
I know she deserved much better.
"You probably feel sorry now.
While in heaven's clouds I float,
But you're quite a bit too late now."
And that was all she wrote.
