Handwritten Letters

This is the third time I wrote a letter for Jisung. He's been my crush since the first day I stepped foot in this university. Now that we're juniors, I finally decided to gradually confess my feelings for him.

I tiptoed until I reached his lockers making sure nobody's around. They're currently at the field for their football practice so I took this opportunity to sneak in the club rooms. The door is wide open and just like I wanted no one seemed to be there.

I pulled the letter out of my pocket then slowly slid it in his locker. Just when I heard it drop, the door gently cracked as if somebody moved it. My foot was glued on the ground as my eyes wandered around the room looking for a place to hide. I decided to take a step and just run away but before I could, a man was already standing in front of me.

"Yah..." He muttered in a hesitant tone as he approached me.

I gazed up at him then realized he's also a student around our age. My eyes then landed towards the logo in his overcoat uniform. I see, he's a student but not from this university. I was able to muster up my courage the moment I knew he's not someone I should be scared of.

"What?" I answered, trying my best to intimidate him.

"Did you... By any chance..." He added as he moved closer, peeking over the lockers behind me.

I stared at him with all the confusion but when I was about to say something he broke the silence first.

"Yah!" He yelled this time which startled all of my nerves. "That's Jisung's locker... and that sticker..." He trailed.

"And so?" I yelled back.

How did he know it's Jisung's? In the first place, how did he know Jisung? My mind began to imagine silly possibilities.

"Ahhh! You're a stalker!" He insisted as he proceeded to pull me out of the room by my arm.

"I'm not!" I yelled at him as he kept on dragging me.

"Then what are you doing here?" I was silenced by his next question that I decided to break our eye contact.

"Just forget what you saw. It's not a big deal anyway." I tried pursuing him.

"I won't, and I will expose you to Jisung." He teased me, which made me even more furious.

I glared at him thinking about what I should say next. "Alright, you know... I owe you one if you let this pass." I negotiated, almost begging.

He was amazed by my passive and submissive tone that his face began to lit up. "That's right, let's make a deal then... Don't tell anyone about what you heard earlier." He smirked as if he's into something evil.

"Did we meet earlier?" I asked with a plaster of confusion all over my face.

"Weren't you near the dean's office earlier? Didn't you hear anything?" He looks at me with pure curiosity and desperation.

I took a deep breath trying to figure out what he meant. "I did not..." I trailed then continued. "I passed by there, but I didn't hear anything at all." I didn't lie cause it's none of my business anyway.

"Whatever. Just make sure you're not lying. Cause we're holding each other's secrets now." He smirked again before he let go of my arm.

"Alright Mr..." I trailed then glanced at his name plate. "...Zhong." I rolled my eyes and was about to leave but he talked back.

"It wasn't a nice encounter, but I hope I will see you again." He chuckled sarcastically which made my blood heat up to a hundred.

I left him without saying a word but the possibility of him telling Jisung my secret is giving me chills. What is he to Jisung anyway?
