Prologue - Chapter 20: The Prologue Adjourned

***Exterior Hallway 2F***

C.C. POV:

"Phew... We managed to avoid expulsion. That was a close one!" Deuce exclaims. "Yeah, no kidding!" Ace exclaims. "La la la la la! I'm a student at Night Raven College! La la la!

I'm gonna be the top mage on campus in no time. Enjoy eating my dust, boys!" Grim exclaims. "Big words for a sentient pile of lint who's literally only half a student. Still...Good for you." Ace says. "I guess we're schoolmates now. Grim, Yuu — welcome to Night Raven." Deuce says. "I just hope this all goes well..." Bubba mutters.

"The way you squared off against that monster even when you didn't have a bit of magic showed a whole lot of guts. With steel nerves like that, you'll be fine. Even in this school." Deuce says. "Say, what's the deal with you sometimes talking like a punk, anyway?" Ace asks. "Huh?! D-do I? I think I talk pretty normal." Deuce says hesitantly. "Whatever. Let's just get back to the dorm. After nearly getting expelled, the last thing we need is a curfew violation." Ace says. "We're from Heartslabyul House, by the way. What dorm are you guys in?" Deuce asks. "The dorm we're in has been abandoned for years...We've taken to callin' it "Ramshackle House." The ol' dump is literally full of ghosts. Yeesh." Grim states.

"Hey, count your blessings. I'd rather deal with ghosts than have to see this guy's smug, self-important scowl every day." Ace says. "Better than your lazy, dopey grin." Deuce counters. "Keep bawling, crybaby. I haven't forgotten how you almost wept when he said you were expelled. Catch ya later, Yuu." Ace says before running off with Deuce. "Those two seem like they're made for each other." Bubba says. "C'mon, Yuu, let's get back to the dorm! Tomorrow when we wake, it won't be as janitors. Finally, finally...My glorious education as a proper Night Raven College student is about to begin!" Grim exclaims.

***Diasomnia Dorm***

I walk up to my dorm and I'm immediately met with yelling. As I enter I see a green haired male run up to me to check on my wounds and a black haired man calmly approaching. They introduce themselves as Sebek and Malleus, then a Silver haired male walks over very sleepily and introduces himself as Silver before going to the couch and falling asleep. When Sebek deems me okay I start heading to my room, only to get scared before I enter. "Hiya!" the man with the deep voice says as he appears from the ceiling. I nod in reply and he introduces himself as Lilia. We talk for a bit, he reminds me of an overly energetic grandfather. I say goodbye and walk into my room.

When I enter I see my nightmares playing Go Fish with a blue haired boy. Nightmare Fredbear looks at me, "Ah, welcome back C.C. the voice box is ready." I nod and walk over to the blue-haired boy, who seems very fidgety. I change into Shadow Freddy and sit down so he can put the voice box in. The blue-haired boy looks at me in shock, before changing to awe and shakily starting to replace my voice box. After listening to the nightmares converse while the blue-haired boy does repairs he finally steps away. I change back into my more human form before testing the voice box. "H-hello, I'm C.C. how about you?" I ask. "Uh- I-i'm I-idia." the blue-haired boy hesitantly replies. "Well thank you Idia!" I say happily before noticing a flash of sadness in his eyes. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Y-yeah." he replies. I nod and we talk a bit while playing chess.

***Interesting Facts***

-They ended up playing board and card games all night

- Idia started getting more comfortable around C.C. and the Nightmares

-C.C. is happy there's a new person willing to pull an all nighter with him

-C.C. is starting to see Idia as a Big Brother

-C.C. and the nightmares decided to lend Idia some of the blueprints they may have stolen from the Pizzeria and Afton household

-Idia saw Ortho in C.C. when he got thanked
