UNPLEASANT ENCOUNTER

Evening Time

(It was 7 o'clock in the evening. Almost all the guests had reached Arora Niwas (Sonali's house) except the groom and his family. Rakhi, Vijay, Meethi and Satyakam were welcoming the guests. Rakhi asks Vijay in tension)

Rakhi : Suniye ji, why haven't those people come yet? The engagement is scheduled for 8 o'clock so they should have arrived by now.

Vijay : You wait, I will call them right now and ask.

‍(Vijay goes away from there to call them. After 5 minutes he comes there with Kunal's parents and his relatives. Rakhi gets relieved after seeing them and goes to welcome them and says with folded hands.)

Rakhi : Namaste ji Namaste. Swagat hai Aap sabhi ka

(Then she hugs Sarita (Kunal's mother) and asks)

Rakhi : How are you Sarita ji? You didn't face any problem in coming, did you?

Sarita : I am absolutely fine. And no, we did not face any problem in coming here.

(Then Sarita and Vikram (Kunal's father) meet Meethi and Satyakam. Then Rakhi says.)

Rakhi : Aap longon ne aane main badi der Laga di, main to tension main aa gayi thi.

Sarita : What it is, is that there was a problem at home.

Rakhi : Why? What happened?

Sarita : My sister has also come here for the wedding but she fell ill.

Rakhi : Hey bhagwan! How is her health now? Is there anything to worry about?

Sarita : No..no she is fine now. Just the weather here did not suit her, so her health deteriorated a bit. But the doctor said that there is nothing to worry about, just some rest is needed, so she is resting at home. My nephew and I also wanted to stay there but my niece is very stubborn, she scolded me and her brother and said that there is no point in being so tense and she will take care of her and it is important for us to be here, only then we were able to leave the house. That's why we got so late.

Rakhi : Thank God that she is fine now.

(Then Rakhi looks towards the gate and asks them)

Rakhi : By the way, where is Kunal? He is nowhere to be seen. He hasn't come with you guys?

Vikram : No, he has not come with us. He is coming with his cousin, they are just about to arrive.

Vijay : They will come. We should go inside.

(Everyone goes inside. Imlie also gets ready and comes down. She is wearing a dark green gown, which has long sleeves and has embroidery work on the entire upper part and also at some places below. Her hair was divided into two sides and she had made waterfall braids on both the sides, which were tied at the back and at the back she had put a big bow clip and the rest of the hair was open. She wore light make-up and nude lipstick and was looking very cute and beautiful. She goes to meet everyone and seeing her, Sarita praises her)

Sarita :  Oh wow Imlie, you are looking stunning. Might it happen that today you snatch away all the limelight from my future daughter-in-law.

Imlie : Thank you Aunty. And don't worry, nothing like this will happen, you haven't seen your daughter-in-law yet, I'm sure she's going to look breathtaking.

Sarita : I know, she must be.

Rakhi : Imlie, go and see if she is completely ready or not, only half an hour is left for the engagement.

(She goes to Sonali's room from there and as soon as she sees her, her eyes open wide in surprise because she is really looking very gorgeous. She was wearing a red sparkle, semi off shoulder, long sleeve, ball gown which had beadings and glitter work on it. Her hair was parted on the left side, with less part on the left and more on the right side. At the front some hair on both the sides were puffed up by twisting them in a circular motion from front to back, which were pinned at the back with red roses attached at the back and the rest of the hair was open. Her makeup was perfect with red bold lipstick and smokey eyes. She was looking very beautiful and elegant)
