✿︎ Author's POV ✿︎After Siddharth and Asher endured their funny, embarrassing punishment, it was time to turn the tables on Kavish, Isha, Maliska, Rohan, and Kavita.
Siddharth and Asher stood off to the side, still slightly embarrassed, their expressions amusing enough to make Himanshi and Adiba giggle.
"Now, let's give our dear jiju his punishment," Adiba announced with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Himanshi, equally amused, nodded in agreement. "I have just the perfect idea," she said, her voice brimming with excitement.
Kavish grew increasingly anxious as the two discussed his fate. His eyes darted nervously between them. "Are you seriously planning to punish your jiju too?" he asked, his voice filled with an almost childlike plea.
Himanshi smirked. "Of course! Why would we let you off the hook, jiju?" she teased, her words making everyone chuckle.
"Okay, jiju, here’s your punishment..." Himanshi paused dramatically, locking eyes with him, her suspenseful tone making the crowd lean in closer.
"You have to wear a saree in front of everyone and dance to a song of our choice!" she declared with glee.
For a moment, the room fell silent, everyone shocked by the boldness of the punishment. Then, Jiya burst into laughter, clapping her hands. "Oh my God, this is going to be epic! Give him the saree, please!"
Himanshi revealed a bright, colorful saree she'd been holding behind her back, and Kavish's jaw dropped. "You can’t be serious! No way I’m doing this!" he whined, sounding like a child who’d just been denied his favorite candy.
Jiya, however, crossed her arms and gave him a look that brooked no argument. Kavish let out a defeated sigh, his nervous smile betraying his reluctance. "Alright, fine. Hand it over," he said, holding out his hand.
Himanshi tossed the saree to him, and Kavish caught it, immediately turning to Jiya with pleading eyes. "At least help me with this, Jiya?" he asked, his voice dripping with desperation.
Before Jiya could respond, Adiba chimed in. "Nope! That’s against the rules. Jiya, you’re not allowed to help him."
"But," Himanshi interjected with a sly grin, "you can pick someone else to help you anyone from your friends."
Kavish scanned the room, his eyes bouncing from one face to another. Finally, after much deliberation, he sighed. "Asher and Siddharth will help me," he declared.
Asher and Siddharth, who had been silently enjoying the drama, froze. Their eyebrows shot up in unison. "Wait, what?!" Siddharth exclaimed, but there was no escaping it.
He could have choose anyone for this task but yet he chose them.
The trio made their way to the stage, and the chaos began. Kavish stood awkwardly in the middle, clutching the saree, while Asher and Siddharth debated over how to drape it.
To everyone’s surprise, Asher seemed to know what he was doing, his hands moving with surprising precision. Siddharth, on the other hand, struggled, fumbling with the fabric like it was a puzzle he couldn’t solve.
Amid their struggle, Siddharth looked at Asher and asked in disbelief, "How do you even know how to drape a saree?"
Asher shrugged nonchalantly. "YouTube. I learned it from there" he replied, focused on his task.
