"Let's get a move on!" I hear Megan holler. I looked at my crew and nodded, we started to pack our stuff and get into our vehicles. I got into the truck with Jordan. I looked at him "you ready for this? We're supposed to have a crazy couple of weeks." I said to Jordan. Jordan simply nodded in return to my question as we started down the back roads of Bartlesville Oklahoma.
As we drove I was watching the clouds, looking for a funnel. "Should I turn right or left up here?" Jordan asked. "Uhmm, let's risk it, go left!" I said back to him as we reached the fork in the road. Just then I found a funnel cloud "that looks like it's gonna form a tornado, and a good one at that." I said and Jordan nodded in a agreement as we started chasing it.
The tornado soon touched the ground and looked to be an EF2 so nothing to bad.
Around 13 minutes later it was gone and we parked and all stepped out of our vehicles when we saw our rival crew pull up beside us.
Let's rewind back a little and I'll introduce you to everyone in my crew. My names Maya and I'm from Kansas, but I moved here for college for meteorology.
Jordan has been my friend since I moved here and was studying meteorology with me, we clicked instantly.
Lila was a friend on Jordan's and he introduced us and we became bestfriends, the three of us and it was perfect, we all had a love for storms.
And then there's Megan, Megan we met the night of a bad storm, she was chasing alone so we decided to invite her to join us and she did. She's amazing.
