EVEYONE LET OUT a gasp when the three boys walked through the entrance. ariana high-fived them before leaving the villa, letting everyone introduce themselves.
the three boys and the girls chatted in a group, while all the other boys talked at the firepit. "are the boys gonna say what's up to, or..?" hakeem asked.
they all said their hellos to hakeem, blake, and connor, before the three walked over to the girls. as they continued to talk, athena and liv got up to talk to their boys.
athena couldn't help but be disappointed in herself, but she knew it's what she had to do at love island. just seeing serena avoid the girl's glances made her feel worse than ever before.
she walked up to the firepit where kordell sat with the other boys, and their conversation came to an end when both her and liv walked over.
"can i talk to you?" she asked, playing with her fingers. kordell nodded, and the pair walked over to the pink and orange couch. "how you feelin?" he asked, noticing the sad expression that took over the girl's usual bright smile.
athena sighed, "i just feel really bad. i know this is what you do on love island, but i just feel so bad that i did that to her." kordell nodded, totally understanding where she was coming from.
he placed his hand on her knee, and the girl tried to ignore the feeling her stomach felt. "if you want to, you can go talk to her." he told her.
the girl looked up at him, "a-are you okay if i do?" she asked. he nodded, "yeah. go do what you feel like you need to do, i'll be right here."
athena smiled, placing a soft kiss on his cheek before getting up from the couch. she saw that serena was still on the blue and white stripped couch from earlier, and a couple of girls were huddled around her.
