Emily Jones stood nearly waist deep in water, as the small cave chamber was filling and they had no easy escape. On her back, clinging to her shoulders was a small child who'd claimed her as Mama - even though Emily had never met the child's father. In Emily's hands were two of the Seven Swords of Diya.

Emily studied the ceiling of the small cave chamber - her mystical swords lighting the way. Above them was the familiar spiral symbol of the apkallu caved into a single stone with seven slots around it that looked like keyholes.

Emily looked at her two swords. "I guess I just pick two of the slots - because I only have two of the sword keys."

"And Gwandpa has the seventh," the child announced.

Emily swallowed, knowing what she'd seen and uncertain what or who to believe. Her daughter of the future - if she dared to believe that - was saying that her father, Indy was still alive.

"What's wrong, Mama?"

"I saw a very bad man, hurt your grandfather... very badly."

The child blinked. "Oh! You mean the big white scar on Gwandpa's chest that goes from his shoulder, through his heart and across to where he's got his holster?"

Emily swallowed, trying not to remember the horror, but it was slashed into her brain, like the scars on her face and body. "Yes... it did strike him there..."

"He likes it. Says it matches the scar on his chin."

Emily kissed the child's hands which were squeezed across her shoulders. "You do know Dad." She looked up at the ceiling. "And I think I recognize this mechanism from the Sidenstrasse Tapestry. Only the tapestry showed it from the other side."

"What is it that Aunt Lizavet says? As above... so below?"

"That's it," Emily whispered, grinning like Indiana Jones. "That's where we put the swords... north and south. As above, so below."

She held up the swords as the water reached her ribs and started to burn. The current knocked her off her feet and she jumped, stabbing the two swords into the ceiling. There was a groaning of rock and the ceiling opened -
