"No, no, fucking stupid-" You cursed, standing up from your chair and slamming your laptop shut. You were loaded up with loads of revision, but couldn't focus and it frustrated you.
You sat back down in the chair, resting your head down on the desk and closing your eyes, tears falling from them until you were sobbing. You tried to be quiet, but it didn't work.
"Hey baby-" You heard Conan's voice say, but stop once he realised what was happening.
"Baby, no..." He said softly, coming over to you and wrapping his arms around you.
"It's okay, love, I've got you. Just breathe for me." He said to you and he helped you to take deep breaths, calming you.
He pulled your chair out more and lifted you off it and picked you up into his arms.
"I've got you, my sunshine. Everything's gonna be okay, I know you're stressed out but I've got you." He kissed your head softly, stroking your hair as you held onto him.
He began to sway slightly and hum. You recognised it as his most recent single, Never Ending Song, and smiled. He knew how much you loved that one.
He sat down on your bed with you in his lap, still cradled to him and comforting you, rubbing your back. He always knew what to do.
'And it goes on and on and on, like a never ending song...'
