The big 16🎁

Today's my birthday.
I can't believe I'm 16.
My mom will maybe finally get me a car.
Or she'll rant about how I can perform with her.
Like I get it. It's fun and all but, I'm not a kid anymore.
I love my mom trust me, but I'm craving space sometimes.

*KNOCK, KNOCK*

"Come in."
"K."
"Hey Sophie !! And Miguel, and Mason?? What are  y'all doing here."
"We're here to help you get ready, at least I am. The boys just wanted to tag alongside🤷‍♀️."
"Ok.."
"Yup!"
"Very enthusiastic Mason but, ok mr. president. !" Nami says.
"Wait that sounds nice, maybe you should be the new president and not Tristan !!" Miguel says.
"Nope that's Tristan's thing !" Nami says.
"Boring." Mason says.
"You life is boring."
"Ok Nami and Mason chill.You fight like twins."
"Thanks, we totally are😇👍." Nami and Mason both says.

You all laugh and, your mom knocks on the door.

"Namiko, hurry and get dressed !"
"K."
"Also, hello namiko's friends !!"
"Hi !" everyone says.

"Guys I'm gonna get dressed, do you mind?"

"Yeah yeah, of course."
"Yeah."

The boys leave the room so you can change. Sophie helps you with your makeup etc.

"Done."
"Wow tysm !! I look so pretty !!"
"Ofc girl, I'm your bsf I got your back💗!!"
"Ilysm Sophie, thank you. For all you've done."
"Ofc, I would give you my kidney if you needed it. Also, ily too🫶🏽."
"Wow a little shocker about the kidney."
"It's true tho."
"OMG CAN WE COME IN ALREADYYY!!" Mason says.
"Come in." Namiko says.
"You look great."
"Thank you."
"Wow, you look amazing Nami😨." Miguel says.
"Thank you."  *you blush a little*.
"Ok so let me get this straight, we're leaving out rn then we'll go to you're houses so yall can change?"
"Yup."
"Pretty much."
"Yeah."
"K lemme put on my heels."

You put on you're heels and stop by you're mom and dads room.

"Oh hey dad I didn't know you were home."
"Yeah just came home at 5:00 am today."
"Well I'm gonna head out see you at the party?"
"Yeah, stay safe nami." You're parents say.
"I will, love ya."
"We love you too."
"Man, namiko is growing up to fast." Jhéne says.
"I can't imagine when she moves out." Jamie says.
"I know, but you know, time doesn't have a pause button." Jhéne says, she sighs.

(TIME SKIP TO THE PARTY)

Everything's going great.
The party is fun. The food is great. Im enjoying myself.
The father daughter dance was amazing.
My mom described that dance as : 'wholesome' because it made everyone smile.
Wow, I didn't know me and my dad dancing were important to people but ok.
Now it's time for the slow dance.
Sophie's dancing with Mason.
There so cute together.
Now me and Miguel are gonna dance.
I hope it isn't awkward.
Maybe it will be?
Idk, but all I know is please, let my mom not take pictures of me. She doesn't know how to aim for crap. Her aim is so bad she couldn't even aim to give a fan the mic to sing.
But anyways, it's time for the slow dance. I tried to talk the dj out of it, but my mom insisted.

"Namiko?"
"Oh yeah sorry, I zoned out."
"It's ok, let's dance?" Miguel says.
"Yea."

NAMIKO'S POV:

Miguel leads me to the dance floor, I  follow his steps, I'm not the best at dancing but I  try. I slip a little bit but, eventually I get the hang of it. To be honest, dancing with him felt magical. It felt so different. I felt loved. I really like Miguel. But he wouldn't like me because, I feel like boys never look at me, it's Sophie who they look at. (yes the quote / I wanted to change it a little bit)
I'm staring into Miguel's beautiful brown eyes. He's staring into mine. He slowly starts to lean in. I do too. Is there anything preventing me from kissing him? No. I close my eyes. And then, I feels his soft lips on mine. I wanted this moment to last forever.

MIGUEL'S POV:

I'm dancing with her and, I would rather be dancing with her than anyone else. I really like her, hopefully she likes me back. I'm staring into her eyes. I can't help it anymore. I feel myself lean in. She closed her eyes. And, and we kiss.

We pull away.

"Are we still friends." Nami says.
"Are we still friends?" I say.
"I-i-i don't know.." she stutters.
"Namiko, I really like you. Will you take the honer of being mine?"
"Ofc❤️."
"I love you, Namiko." i say.
"I love you too." She says.

NAMIKO'S POV:

I can't believe this !! I'm so happy !! I have to tell everyone at dinner at 8 today !! Since the party ends at 5, I'll have enough time !! Then we'll go home for gifts. Just a good day.

(SKIP TO DINNER)

We are going out to this fancy steak place. I've been here a couple of times but that's it. We rented the place out just so fans wouldn't bombard us. We just wanted a peaceful day.

"Mikey, what are you getting?"
"Uhm idk, probably the steak and broccoli." Miguel says.
"Oh I'm getting the steak and lobster." I say.
"Oh ok." Miguel says.
"We have an announcement to say." I say.
"Yes can we get everyone's attention?" He says.

all heads turn.

"Me and Miguel, are dating."

"Congrats !!" Sophie says."
"Nice." Mason says.

Everyone say congratulations and, you get your food and eat, you guys head home.

(SKIP TO HOME)

Everyone gives me my gift so it's on to the last person, Miguel.

"I brought you this gift." Miguel says.

I pick the gift up and open it, it's a bracelet and a necklace . A beautiful charm bracelet. It's matching with Miguel. His has a 'N' on it. You're has a 'M'. Also, The necklace says '16'. Wow.

"Thank you Mikey."
"Anything for you. You're the big 16."
