Erys moved the large Stanley cup to her left hand and held up her ID that was connected to the lanyard around her neck. Once her identification card was successfully scanned, she then her heard the familiar click meaning the door was now unlocked.
As she entered the busy warehouse she immediately headed over to the security station and began to place her belongings in the provided trays.
"Goodmorning Ms.Hayes, I see they got you in here early this morning." Milton spoke as he looked at her in surprise. Erys usually only worked night shifts and would be getting off around this time so he was extremely shocked to see her coming in at the time she was.
"Yeah I'm covering for Justice today, Milli." She spoke softly before letting out a small yawn as she walked through the metal detectors.
Justice was one of her fellow co-workers that worked in the fulfillment department with her. He worked two jobs so every blue moon one of his jobs would collide with the other, resulting in him having to take off from one of them. When the time came, Erys usually picked up his shifts for him with no problem.
"Aww okay, till what time?" He asked as he moved the tray of her belongings down so that she could retrieve them.
"I believe six. Nothing too crazy."
"A nice lil eight hour shift, ain't nothing wrong with that." He nodded as he picked up his small cup of coffee that he had gotten from Dunkin' Donuts.
"I'm telling you cause I'm so use to them twelve hour shifts, baby I'm finna be outta here in no time." She emphasized as she walked up to the tray and grabbed all of her belongings which was her Stanley cup, phone, and keychain. She'd always leave her purse in her trunk simply because she didn't trust the lockers that her job provided. Better safe than sorry.
"Well you have a good day baby. I'll see you before you leave." Milton spoke giving the girl a small wave before she continued on her journey heading to her designated area for the day.

"I came over here and thought you would've at least had something cooked. I knew I should've went to Canes, ugh." Erys frowned as she walked around her Mother's kitchen not spotting a pot on the stove or any containers in the fridge.
She had just gotten off work about an hour ago and she was extremely hungry. Her mom usually cooked at least three times a week so she expected there to at least be leftovers but she was wrong.
"I haven't been feeling good pumpkin, I told you that already." Erin came into the kitchen tying her robe up. Erys looked away from the cabinet she was raiding and glanced over at her mom seeing her looking a complete mess.
Erin being sick was a rare sight for everyone because she was always in high spirits and kept herself looking up to par. Seeing her now, you could obviously sense that something was wrong with her.
She wore her plush brown robe with the matching house slippers and her natural tresses were pulled up into a messy bun. Her natural volume lash set that Erys had did on her a little over three weeks ago was halfway gone and her nose was extremely red due to her constantly blowing her nose.
