Chapter 21~ Reunited

*Destiny's Point of View*

       It was now a week or so after the rest of the "troops" had arrived at our home. Everyone has been working diligently in order to be prepared for battle. However, there is still an underlying tension between all the mates due to the segregation. Apparently, our word is not quite enough to encourage people to finally meet or be reunited with their loves. It seems that the problem ran so much deeper than we believed it to be. Victoria and i have been trying to get the mates to talk to one another; however, it is to no avail. Hopefully we can encourage the Brothers, Sisters, and Clans to break this up and help the tension end.

       Everyone was now outside and training almost 24/7. Victoria and I made it our job to train with everyone we could to get the most diverse training possible. As we trained, Steven and Annie tagged along to evaluate the fighters and the powered ones to see what position they'd have. They were attached at the hip, completely perfect for one another. But, they really kept their relationship more on the down low... Maybe soon they will be more public...

       "Hey, we have the day off today, love. Let us all have a day outside. A big outdoor feast for all the hard work." Niall told me as we readied ourselves.

       "I agree. Let's get everyone who can cook to the kitchens to help Victoria and I. Everyone else can go to the clearing to set up." I complied. He nodded and exited the room to go and brief everyone on the plan. Today, I put my plan into motion-- Operation Reunited.

       My goal for the day was to reunite and introduce as many of the mates as I possibly could to each other. I plan to begin the integration on my own terms. I somehow acquired the power to see who is mates with who through my foresight, so this would be much easier than it sounds. 

       Now, Steven and Annie are already together thanks to our war meeting the other week. Zoe and Alfie have been together for ages, so I don't have to worry about them. Where to begin?

Michael and Jazmine

*TIME SKIP*

       The feast had begun soon after we finished the food. Everyone was full of joy and waiting patiently with empty stomachs. We all dug in, and it was time to put my plan in motion.

       "Hey Michael," I said as I walked up to him. He smiled and nodded hello, seeing as how his mouth was full of food. "I was thinking that maybe you should go and introduce yourself to Jasmine. I know that you two are mates, so its only fitting..." 

       "But I don't even know what to say to her! I may be punk rock, but I can't talk to someone like her! I'd just embarrass myself..." He trailed off.

       "Well, how about you start with 'hello'. Everything will fall in to place after that. I'm sure she'd dying to talk to you. She hasn't stopped staring at you since the feast began." I told him. I gave him a small shove in the direction where she was. He gave a small chuckle before going off to talk to her. As soon as he reached her, he said hello with confidence. She asked him to sit with her, and I could see that they instantly connected. 

The plan was working

       Since I had an idea of all the other known mates, I went around doing the same for everyone else. I compelled all of them to speak to one another. They all started with the same word: hello. It did not take long for everyone with a mate to be reunited.

       Electra and Dan were together before the segregation, but the segregation kept them apart for ages. They couldn't do anything for one another. However, once he saw her again, they had the most sweetest, tear- filled reunion that one would ever see. He even proposed by the end of the day (in private of course, before announcing it. Dan's still pretty shy). It was a beautiful moment for the two, and I couldn't be happier.

       Steven and Annie finally announced their relationship as well. We all knew it was going to happen, so it didn't surprise us. They were good for each other; bother were strong in mind and heart. They'd protect each other through anything.

       Zoe and Alfie were perfectly in love. Nothing much to explain for those two.

       Shailene and Theo hit it right off as soon as they were reunited. Turns out, they had gotten together the day before the segregation began when they were much younger. They had forgotten about one another, seeing as how they were separated. But as soon as they began talking again, they seemed like they had known each other their whole lives.

       Jared and Genevive were married before the segregation, so they privately renewed their vows once they were back together. Victoria and I officiated, seeing as how we were the Queens. They were hopelessly devoted to one another, and it was good to see them back.

       I found out that Xochi and Alec were mates during the picnic, so I got them talking to one another. They bonded over country music and life in the human world, where they were before the whole ordeal came out. Within moments, they became the closest out of anyone.

       Liam and Jennifer already had an idea that they were mates, but they did not act upon it. Once I got them together though, they acted like two kids in a candy shop. They were perfectly kooky for one another. Beautiful.

       Everest and Daniel were a whole other story. Originally, they had some mention between them. Turns out, their families hated each other, so they felt the same. After a big long talk from me, however, they put aside their differences. Slowly, I broke down their walls and got them talking.

       As the day came to a close, one by one the people split up to go to their dorms. Some stayed out a while longer, but I was exhausted from playing match maker. So I went upstairs to my room, flopped down on the bed, and went to sleep.

The mates will end this war.

A/N: Sorry that this is just a filler chapter. I promise the next couple will be fan more interesting. The battle is drawing near! 

Also, I decided that I will post a basic chapter next explaining who's who. I know that no one asked for it, but I believe that it will be much more helpful come the battle stages.
