Chapter 1: What I see

*･゜ﾟ･*The beautiful trees, the beauty of those primrose flowers, to the smiles I see, do not mean anything to me.
The beauty of nature is only a mere printed sheet. I can't remember the time where I was in awe of natures beauty..

Kiko: As the princess in Haru kingdom; I will announce my upcoming age ceremony by this month. Soon I'll be having authority to protect the Haru nation alongside our beloved king and queen. I'll show my worth to keep this nation set in peace.

I bowed down to my people who are gathered in a large room. Everyone, then cheered and spread the news from nations that we are in good terms to nations that are from afar.

Kiko: Is that all for today, Souta?

Souto: Yes, my lady.

I yawned due to exhaustion from yesterday's work. Unfortunately, I didn't get to rest or even have the chance to eat. Not only that, but everyone expects me to prepare instead. In their view point; to show my independency of my coming of age, despite doing so much from yesterdays stress. If only I can order the maids to come help me out.

Kiko: I should get paid more...

Souto: What?

Kiko: Huh?

Souto: Yes?

Kiko: I'll use your words to convince my mother then. See ya!

Souto: What kind of scheme are you planning this time, young lady?!

Running like the Speedy Gonzalez that I am. Until I was able to reach to my door, immediately opening it and getting back inside my room. Luckily, he didn't chase after me, so I am safe. Although, this is a good chance to rest up before I'm interrupted with useless work.

After a few hours of resting, I was suddenly awoken of a loud bang coming from my nearest window. Trying my best to fall back asleep, only to hear more banging. I signed in defeat since it's no use trying to go back to sleep. I walked clumsily to the closed window and to my surprise I didn't see anyone.

Kiko: Schizophrenia this early? I might need to tell my mother about this..wait but then if word spreads out the commoners would come to a conclusion that I don't have full royal blood.

"Not my concern."

I shrugged at the thought of it and waited for the bang to appear.

*bang*
*bang*

Kiko: OH what is it?!

I looked out the window to see a strange looking boy around my age. The boy look directly at me saying anything. At this I was confused and shout louder to hear an explanation. The boy pulled his hood further to his face so I won't suspect him and runs away.

Kiko: What was that about?

Souto: My lady, the Queen is asking for your presence down to the dinning hall.

Kiko: Is there any context to this matter?

Souto: I am not sure myself, my Lady.

Something doesn't seem to be alright with this sudden change of the atmosphere.
