Your POV

I watch Marceline, my mother, approach a boy with a smile and hug him tightly, saying something undecipherable as I hide in the corner invisible. The boy floats up and onto his back as he folds his hands behind his head and speaks to her. My mother sweeps her long, wavy black hair over her shoulder and shrug, looking around the room. She seems to be searching for a heartbeat. She laughs and looks in my direction. I know she can sense my heartbeat, me being a vampire-human hybrid and all, but I just pray she doesn't give me away.

She walks around me as I float up and over to the boy, floating around him and inspecting him. I don't detect threats coming from his aura, but I want to be safe. His laid-back posture and carefree aura puts me at ease, but I still don't make myself visible. I notice he has a bass ax guitar similar to my mother's.

I feel arms wrap around me and look behind me to my brother, Prince Gumball, holding me. I yelp and accidentally make myself visible. The boy looks at me and his jaw drops. I thump PG in the forehead. He winces and I giggle. I hear a gasp as I untie my long, dark grey hair and it falls around me. I spin around and see the boy smiling. I cock my head to the side, confused, as he sits up and floats over to Marceline. I turn and PG pulls me into the kitchen.

"What's wrong, Bubba," I ask timidly, my voice soft and concerned. He smirks.

"You do remember you're part human, part candy, and part vampire, right," he laughs as I nod and punch his arm. I decide to read his mind to see what he's thinking.

'I can't believe Marshall Lee might be falling for her. A shame that she won't get to stay curious about him. Well, let's get her into the living room.'

No one's pov

You laugh as you now know the boys name. You sigh as you run in and fly up and land on Marcie's head.

"Mommy! Mommy! I wanna know his name!" You cheer and lean down so you're upside down in her face. She laughs and nods. You leap from her head and latch yourself onto the boy. He lurches back in surprise, but wraps his arms around you and helps you onto his shoulder so you don't fall. 

"Well," he starts, "I'm Marshall Lee, the Vampire King." You giggle and float upside down, approaching him silently. You poke his cheek and frown.

"You don't look like a king." Marceline pulls you away and places you on PG, telling you to stay put and leave the poor alone. You pout.

"Oh, no. She's okay, Marcie. She's funny and sparky. I like that," he grins as he lifts you from Gumball's shoulders and carrying you out the door. You flip him so you're side-saddling his stomach as he carries you out of the cave and into the night. You laugh as you wonder where he's taking you.

You get curious and decide to climb around on him and see what he's like. He seems nice and like he's a bad boy. Two things you love. You start to get to know him.

"So, do you play?" You ask, noticing the ax again. He nods.

"Do you rap and sing?"

"Yes."

"What about adventuring?"

"Always."

"I like you!" You blurt happily. You notice his blush and immediately get confused. Why is blushing? He closes his eyes as you approach a house. Well, a treehouse to be exact. You get excited and latch onto his chest as he gets a burst of speed and bursts through a window, startling a cat and a girl with blue clothes a bunny hat. You frown and notice the neck on the girl.

Your eyes start to glow crimson as you lick your lips hungrily. Marshall Lee notices and clutches you in his arms as you struggle against his grip. You growl and demand he let you free. He denies and tells you to distract your hunger. You struggle until your stubbornness and hunger fade and is replaced by excitement from the new people.

"Hi!" You launch from his chest and scoop up the cat, petting her. You float around with the cat on your tummy, purring. You laugh as the bunny girl looks at you two confused.

"Marsh? Who's this?" She points to you and you grow excited again, you place the cat on Marshall and land on the girls head, leaning down in your face and smiling.

"Me? I'm Twilight! The princess of the Vampires and Candy people!" You remark happily as you kiss her cheek before looking towards the standing cat.

"I'm Cake, and the girl you're sitting on is Fionna The Human." The cat stretches her arms and grabs BMO from across the room. 

"Human? I'm part human!" You cheer as you float up and fix her hat gently, tucking in the parts that fell out and styling her bangs how you think they'd be. She smiles in appreciation before hugging you. You smile and hug back, calming down and floating up and over to the cat.

"It's a pleasure to meet you guys!" You pet the cat and lift her onto your shoulder as you sit on Marshall again. "You guys wanna go see Prince Gumball? I wanna style his hair!" You ask your new friends and they nod. You get off of Marshall as you feel the magical talking and stretchy cat stretch her arms and legs around you as you and the boy fly out of the window with the girls on our backs.
