Inaya's POV

Being a mother is the most precious and purest feeling ever i've experienced. Although going through labour and birth is painful and all but all the pain fades away as soon as you hold the tiny bundle of joy in your hands. The happiness you feel is beyond words.

But parenthood can be tiring and exhausting too. Specially for new parents, there are many things to learn. And at first i was so scared but Rayan was there with me. He was always there for me and consoled me that it'll be fine and that he'll be always there with me.

When Inara was going through her teething stage she used to be so grumpy and kept crying all night daily. She wouldn't go to sleep unless you hold her. So Rayan used to wake up all night taking care of her and holding her so i could get some rest too. And he'd even take leave from office if i had more projects to work on so i could work without worrying about Inara.

Rayan is always there supporting me. I love him so much and i can't explain how grateful i am to have him as my life partner.

"Ya Allah!" i gasped as i entered the kitchen only to find it in a catastrophic situation.

There was flour and batter everywhere, on counters, on walls and even on floor. What the hell did just happened in here?

"Sweetheart.."

"Mama.."

My gaze went towards the two devil father daughter duo who definitely were the cause of all this mess, as they were also covered with flour and batter.

Rayan and Inara are inseparable. They are the exact same and are always together in their every mischief. Inara can't go a day without him and the same goes with him. She always get grumpy and sad whenever he leaves for office that Rayan even decided to work from home, but i knocked some senses into him. And whenever he comes back her happiness is beyond. She doesn't even go to sleep before him tucking her in the bed and reading a story to her. Their bond is the most precious one which makes me feel so happy. I've never got to experience this type of bond with my father, but i'm glad that my daughter got to. He's the perfect father and husband to us.

They glanced at each other nervously before turning towards me and blinking their eyes innocently as if they didn't just turned my kitchen into a disaster.

Inara looks just like rayan. She inherited all his genes whether it's looks or her mischief. Even her eyes are all him. I can't believe that i was the one carrying her for 9 months and she turned out to be just like her father. Rayan on the other hand couldn't be more proud about this.

"Will someone explain to what happened here?" i asked with my brows raised.

They both gulped nervously. "Uhm.. baba will explain!"

Rayan's eyes threatened to fall out of his sockets when Inara threw him under the bus. He looked at her with the betrayed expression on his face as she tried to hide behind him.

"Sorry baba, but mama is so scary when she's angry," she whispered.

"I know little sweetheart, but i'm scared of her too," Rayan whispered back.

And they had a silent conversation through their eyes, completely forgetting about me.

"You guys, i'm right here!" i reminded them.

Rayan cleared his throat before speaking, "Sweetheart! We were just... baking and a small accident happened."

"Yes mama! Just a tiny oopsie," Inara agreed with her father.

"You both are not allowed to leave the kitchen until you clean all this mess," i waved at the kitchen then pointed at them, "And yourselves too."

"Yes ma'am!" they both said while saluting while i shook my head at their antics and left from there.

I went to our bedroom and settled on bed with my laptop, and started working on my recent project.

I got so lost in my work that i didn't even realised how much time passed by.

I was about to go outside and check on Rayan and Inara, when the door opened and they both entered the room slowly.

They had their hands behind their backs as they walked towards the bed.

I raised my eyebrows at them, they both shared a look and nodded at each other.

"What-" i started to ask but stopped when they forwarded their hands infront of me.

They both were holding a single tulip flower with a small sticky note attached on it's stem.

I took the flower from them and my heart melted when i read the notes.

Rayan's read, ''Sorry sweetheart."

While Inara's was, "Sorry mama."

"We won't make a mess again, please forgive us," Inara said while giving me her puppy eyes which a one cannot resist.

"Aww my baby, how can i ever stay mad at you?" i hugged her and she giggled as she placed a kiss on my cheeks.

I did the same and poked the little dimples, another thing she got from Rayan.

"What about me?" Rayan pouted trying to act cute.

"Yes yes you are also forgiven."

"No kisses for me?" he gasped dramatically making me roll my eyes.

Inara giggled while teasing him, "That's because mama loves me more baba!"

"Oh really?" he raised his eyebrows at her and she nodded proudly.

But she soon turned into a fir of laughters when Rayan attacked her with tickling.

"Ok ok.. stop!" she said between the laughters.

Rayan stopped tickling her and forwarded his cheek asking for a kiss from her.

Without wasting any time she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him saying, "I love you, baba!"

"I love you more, little sweetheart!" he said making he giggle in joy.

My heart filled with so much happiness looking at their bond.

Their attention turned towards me and they both shared a mischievous look.

"Tickle monster!" they shouted and attacked me.

We all laughed and i tried to carve this moment to my memory forever.

After lots of laughing and tickling, Rayan engulfed us in a tight family hug.

And i knew that this moment couldn't be more perfect.

These two were my everything.

My whole world.
