Engfa's POV
"Cute eyes, can you please go get the doctor?" I ask Charlotte, my gaze locked on P'Sun. He's frozen in his spot, avoiding eye contact. Charlotte nods and heads towards the door.
"Wait, don't leave me!" Isabella quickly follows her out.
"So... what's going on?" P'Sun asks.
"You just wait until I can get out of this bed." I point at him.
"I didn't do anything," he says, hands up in a panic.
I narrow my eyes. "What did you say to Charlotte?" The second I ask, he looks away, his face paling.
"It's her fault that you're here," he mutters, still looking away.
"What did you say?" I demand, my voice rising. P'Sun turns to leave, but Pichy blocks the door. She shakes her head, disappointment clear.
"I've told you so many times that your big mouth will get you in trouble, but you never listen."
"Boss, you can't be serious. It's Charlotte's fault this all happened."
"Don't speak to me that way," Pichy warns. "Know your place."
"None of this is her fault. I brought her into this life. Everything that happened is because of me."
"Stop defending her. Do you really want to know who shot you?"
"P'Sun, this is not the time," Pichy warns again, visibly growing angrier.
"It was her ex and Dolly's ex, and I bet it was all Charlotte's ex-boyfriend's idea."
I try to get up to give P'Sun a piece of my mind but instead I wince in pain. My back feels like it's on fire with every movement. My leg isn't as bad as my back.
"Engfa, stop moving, and P'Sun, shut your mouth!" Pichy raises her voice.
"I don't care who shot me, this is not her fault," I shout back.
"Why are you still defending her? You're blind if you can't see that she's bad for you," he says, stepping closer.
"Know who you're talking to, P'Sun. I don't care who you are, you will not talk about Charlotte like that," I snap.
P'Sun rolls his eyes and turns to leave, but Pichy stops him again. She grabs his shirt collar, and he shrinks back.
"If I have to tell you to shut your mouth one more time, this won't end well for you."
"Apologize to Charlotte," I order. He turns his head toward me, and Pichy lets go of his collar.
"I'm not going to apologize. She deserved to hear everything I said." He steps closer to the bed.
With all the strength I can muster, I grab his shirt and punch him in the face. He screams in pain and falls, clutching his nose.
"Engfa, we're in a hospital," Pichy groans. Just then, the doctor walks in with Isabella and Charlotte behind him. They gasp at the sight of P'Sun.
"What's going on here?" the doctor asks, eyeing P'Sun.
"Just a friendly chat," Pichy replies.
P'Sun slowly gets up, letting go of his nose. "Oh my god, your nose is bleeding," the doctor states.
I look at P'Sun. His face is red, and his nose is indeed bleeding. "I tripped," he mumbles, moving past everyone and out the door. The room falls silent for a few seconds before the doctor speaks again.
"Did you want to see me?"
"Yeah, I was wondering when I can walk again?"
"Well, that's up to you. It depends on your back and if it hurts too much or not."
