It was like every last of Scarlette's and Malakai's children were married. Two of them are happy with their marriage and one is livid about theirs, but they have been together for a year now, and they haven't ripped one another's heads off which is shocking. Giovanni and I agreed at each family dinner that is held once a month.
Everyone officially moved out of the Gambino estate and into their own places. Devina stays in Spain and Cora decides to get herself a penthouse not to far from the estate.
And Giovanni and I are expecting our first child together and come to surprise it's only on baby and not multiples. We don't know the gender yet because I am early in pregnancy. If Giovanni wasn't overprotective enough now he is. It's like every way I look he is there and he makes sure I have two guards at my hip at each hour of the day.
" Do you have work late tonight again?" I questioned Giovanni at five in the morning. I don't know why he gets up so early, so he can be at work for seven; I just don't understand. " Yes, unfortunately, so don't wait up on me," He kissed my forehead and got out of bed. I just remember when the mafia was underground for about a year and came back after Devina's and Celio's wedding. Now he is busy with work once again.
Without modeling I have been thriving a lot. I hosted many fashion shows. I am going to come back to modeling a year after I have this baby. I already have a plan and Mr. Pierce is ready for me to come back. I would come back sooner, but I want to soak up this free time.

It was around nine by the time I got up. I do have some things to do today. Well, things with Cora. Devina would usually tag along if she was available, but now she is miles away, so she isn't able to do that. Bailee and Valerie have their own things going on today. I think the sisters are just hanging out together. Bailee is about to take her break from modeling within the next year. Luciano and her want to start a family soon, so I think that would be the time.
" So what are we going to do today?" I asked as soon as Cora got into the car with me. " I don't know, but I think we should do some baby shopping," She said with a wide smile. " You know what I was thinking the exact same thing. Right now I am grounded from the bank account mark Giovanni's words, so-" Cora cut me off right there. " I am paying for everything today. Just know my niece or nephew will be spoiled even before they are born," She said.
My guards drove us to the outlet mall, and we got out and tried to get away from them, but somehow, each time, they found us and caught up to us. I'm pretty sure they report back to Giovanni every day about my doings.
I was very particular about the things I wanted, so it took us the majority of the day to find things I liked and wanted. Cora really didn't have to take me shopping, but that is the kind of person she is. The day started to end and we returned back to our homes. All the baby stuff was in the front room of the house. I will have Giovanni and some of the guards take me to the baby's room when I feel like it. Right now I would like to relax and wait for my husband to get home.
To think I was going to marry someone else in their lie. I married the person who waited for me for four years without a question and always sent me roses. Whether this baby is a girl or boy I know he will love this child with his entire heart.
After a couple of hours of being under the covers and watching TV and plus snacks. I felt someone kiss my forehead and I snapped my head around to see a smiling Giovanni. " Hey, when did you get here?" I asked because I sure didn't hear him come in. " A couple of minutes ago. I heard you and Cora did a lot of shopping," He said placing his things down on the kitchen counter.
" Yes, we did. I didn't pay for any of it. Cora was being the rich aunt and decided to pay for everything," I said with a smile. " Sounds like my cousin. This baby is already spoiled and they aren't even born yet," Giovanni said and went into the kitchen. I got up and wobbled my pregnant self behind him into the kitchen.
He snapped his head around and looked at me and I stopped in my tracks. " What?" I asked. " Sit down before you hurt yourself," He said demanding. I raised my eyebrow at him and he softened his expressions. " I am not fragile," I stated and crossed my arms over my chest. " Yes, you are Alex, now sit," He said and I walked right back over to the couch and sat down.
A few minutes went by and I had Giovanni carry me to the bedroom. At least he is willing to treat me like a queen like always. I laid down on the bed and he took a shower and got dressed in some new clothes. He crawled in the bed next to me and lifted up my shirt exposing my baby bump.
Giovanni planted kisses all over my stomach and gently rubbed my stomach. " I hope we have a little girl, I have the perfect name for her," He stated.
