Chapter 1: A New Beginning!

Twenty years ago, a new dragon emerged from the shadows. It was Cynder. She was a dragon that was under spell by Malefor. She decided to join Spyro to defeat this foe.

Cynder: Spyro!!!

Spyro: Huh?

Cynder: Why did you save me back there?

Yui: Cuz he likes you.

Spyro: Yui, really?!

Yui: Chill man, can't ya take a joke?

Cynder: Heh, anyways, let's go defeat this thing!

*They both agree*

Cynder: What do we do?

Spyro: I don't know yet. We have to head back to the temple.

Cynder: Ok!

*After a few hours, they finally reach the Temple*

Elector: Hey hey hey, nice to see you Spyro!

Terrador: Chill out Elector!

Elector: Sorry, just excited to see him.

Ignitus: Ah, fellow dragon... It seems you have Cynder on our side. Good deal. However, the last time you defeated Malefor, he has been resurrected, and he is 50x stronger than both of you combined.

Spyro: Holy shit.

Cynder: Didn't we just defeat him?

Ignitus: Yes, now you both are in your mid 20s, he has resurrected.

Spyro: That's impossible! He wasn't able to resurrect.

Cynder: Fucking bullshit, I'm going to find him and kick his ass.

Spyro: Cynder, wait!

Cynder: *scuffs* No, we gotta end him once and for all!

Spyro: Cynder, No!!!

Cynder: I knew you were a weakling, Spyro...

Spyro: Damn... She's a fierce one.

Ignitus: Don't blame her Spyro, she was manipulated before, and a lot of dragons hated her for what she did.

Spyro: But that wasn't her fault

Ignitus: I know, now she's gone to the Mountain of Spirits.

Spyro: But, she'll die up there!

Ignitus: Yes, she will freeze if we don't get there in time...

Spyro: What is Mountain of Spirits?

Ignitus: The Mountain of Spirits, young one, is a Mountain where Malefor's spirit rests in. Yet the Ape King is trying to resurrect the spirit.

Spyro: How do you know?

Ignitus: Ask Terrador.

Terrador: Yes Spyro, I was scouting the area where to plant some saplings until... I saw a huge beam of light come from the mountain. I don't know what it was so, I decided to snoop around.

Spyro: Huh.

Terrador: I snooped around to check to see if there was anything. No one in sight. When I got closer to the summit of the mountain, I saw Malefor's body. That's when I decided to run off and tell Ignitus.

Ignitus: Yes, that's what you exactly told me. Good work Terrador.

Spyro: So, all I gotta do is go through the mountain to find Cynder?

Ignitus: I'm afraid it's not going to be easy, young one... It's a dangerous journey for a dragon like you.

Spyro: But Ignitus, I defeated Malefor again, and I can do it again!

Ignitus: I like the enthusiasm, young dragon, but I cannot risk a purple dragon like you, to die...

Spyro: Shit, ok. What do I do?

Ignitus: You should go to the Forest of Willows, there is a dragon that you can learn a new move. You already perfectly balanced Fire, Earth, Ice, and Electric.

Spyro: Ok, thanks Ignitus!

Ignitus: Wait, before you go, take this!

Spyro: What is it?

Ignitus: It's a communication time glass. If you need any help, just contact. This journey will be very rough and energy demanding on you, Spyro, so be careful.

Spyro: Ok, thanks Ignitus!

Ignitus: Take care, and good luck... My friend.

*So, in search of Cynder, Spyro heads out to the Forest of Willows*
