2. The Woman

"Oh no!... She's gonna be here soon... please hurry," I said to the staff. "Please, less sugar. She's gonna throw it in my face if it's too sweet."

Hi, my name is Alice, and I am the personal assistant to the coldest woman on this planet.

Yeah, the "CEO of MITTAL INDUSTRIES," Monica R. Mittal.

She's really strict, and I am her favorite assistant. I'm her 15th personal assistant this year, and it's been only 3 months. She said I was smarter and more hardworking than the previous ones. I am extremely happy since I've managed to complete 3 months with her. Trust me, everyone in the company envies me. But she's one hell of a woman. Her aura is damn professional, so perfect from her dressing to business, everything. She's a dream woman for many.

She doesn't appear cold at all. But she's really very cold. I mean, when it comes to business, she doesn't scold you; she'll just fire you in a minute if you do something wrong. That's it. No second chances. So, everyone works carefully under her without making any mistakes. Not to mention her punctuality. It is insane. She'll never come late. That is a fact.

"Here's your coffee, ma'am."

"Oh, thank you, Alice."

"Have you collected the projects from the employees?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"And how many of them haven't submitted?"

"About three, ma'am. But they submitted it, ma'am, one hour late."

"Okay, can I have their profiles?"

"Please request them to send their resignation letters so that I don't have to fire them. That's all I can do."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Cool. How's the placement going for freshers?"

"Yes, ma'am, the team started last week. They've been visiting top colleges."

"I see. The first rounds of aptitude are done?"

"Good. Let them know that this time I will interview the candidates in the final rounds. Last time, the candidates they chose were nothing but a waste. I had to fire all of them before their first month."

"Okay, sure, ma'am. I'll let them know."

"Good. My meeting schedule, please."

"Your first appointment is with Mr. Bohra in ten minutes."

"Yes, mom... No, mom, I've been really busy... Yeah, you got so busy that now you got no time for us... Mom, you know I am not into celebrations. It's nothing but a waste of time... So, spending time with family is a waste for you..."

"Oh no, what the hell, mom. Okay, I will be there in the evening."

"Where's Rishi? You can tag him along."

"He's out for business."

"Just call him. I know he'll come."

"Why, mom?"

"Is it too wrong for a mother to wish her daughter and son-in-law to show up at a family function?"

"Fine, mother... I'll call him. Actually, you are more close to your son-in-law than your daughter. Why not you call him?"

"I have told him, but you need to remind him by calling. Or do I have to appoint someone to remind you?"
