"Haaaaappppy bbiirrtthhddaayy tooo yoooouuu!", my surrounding family and friends all sung together, lacking any sort of harmony at all.

The song had finally ended, my ears were bleeding, but the sentiment was nice. I had just turned eighteen today, June 27th, which meant I could drink, go clubbing, buy a pack of cigarettes (ew) and buy a lottery ticket. I was so excited!

For my birthday I had gotten a designer bag from my aunt, the fashion guru of the family, my parents had payed the rent on a beautiful flat in London for three months until i could get my feet under me at Uni, along with an IPad. My brother had given me a beautiful necklace with a filigree bird on it, and the rest of my relatives had gotten me clothes from Top Shop and a couple other little boutiques I loved.

It was now official, I Clara Eileen Baynard was an adult and feeling good.

The next day, my two best friends, Lena and Pepper came over to help me pack up my stuff and move into the flat. Lena had been my best friend since we met the first day of secondary school. She is tall and tan with warm brown eyes and kinky curly golden brown hair that falls to her shoulders. She runs marathons, and has long gorgeous runner legs, with a perverted mind, hidden only on the surface by innocence. She is shy and quiet at first, but soon enough she is dancing around doing all sorts of nutty things.

Pepper on the other hand was the complete opposite. She had fair skin with flowing strawberry blonde hair and blue-grey eyes. She was medium height with a perfect hourglass figure. She was loud, boisterous, inappropriate, dramatic and fun. Pepper new how to live, sometimes a little too much. She was the first to know everything, and the first to judge a new comer. It wasn't because she was mean, it was because she was watching... all the time, to make sure no one hurt either Lena or I.

People always say I am a combination of the two. Really sort with brown ringlets falling down my back. I had green bright eyes, and a curvy build being I'm half Brazilian. I was always happy and just a ball of energy all the time. I always said the first thing in my mind no matter how random, but at the same time was a total nerd. I got perfect grades, but when It came time to party I let loose. The boys knew it too and there were plenty of creeps, but how could they resist three gorgeous girls like us.?

After a few hours we had finished managed to squish  a few boxes into Jenkins, my baby blue convertible VW bug, and jammed the rest into Lena's big land rover.

"My god you have a lot of stuff Clara!" Pepper complained.

"Well I doubt you have any less." I countered back

"Yeah," said Lena." I know for a fact that if we were moving all my stuff right now we would have died under it!"

The three of us laughed until if felt as if I had enough energy to say the enevitable.

"So.... Who wants to bring all the stuff upstairs?" I asked jokingly.

The other girls groaned and we started up our new project just as it started to drizzle.

After finally getting all the stuff up to the apartment, the three of us ordered a pizza, watched a movie, and fell asleep in a pile on a my mattress on the floor, completely exausted from our workout that day.

Then next week was chaotic but finally by Friday night I had my whole flat set up and looking good. I had bought some pretty curtains, the average things needed in a kitchen, because I refused to eat fast food everyday of my college life, and the groceries necessary to live comfortably. Lena and Pepper came over supposedly to chill, but next thing I knew, the two of them had dragged me off the couch.
