Blurry vision

Story context, cause it's weird:

So think of a zombie apocalypse, except it's not zombies. It just humans that are possessed, and you have to stay inside to stay safe. If a door is open then a possessed person will eventually find it and come in, and like kill you or smt. Idk. If anyone has watched the show 'from' it's like that, but it's just demons possessing people.

I went all around, double checking all the doors and windows were sealed. The sunlight was shining through the window in the kitchen, I was safe inside.

I watched as the possessed walked around outside, nobody knew why or how this has happened. But it was just as bad as all the movies portray, except this time it's real.

I went over to the sink to get a drink of water when I noticed the side door open. It wasn't a door that led outside though.

When the 'apocalypse' started, I was brought to a safe house. A long building with massive interiors. It was like if 5 houses had all been built directly next to eachother with only 1 wall and door seperating them.

I was lucky enough to get put into one in the middle, 2 more units on either side of me. But for all I knew, everybody in those units had died. That's what happens if you go outside or leave the doors open.

I kept all the doors leading to the other units locked, only someone with a key can unlock them, I thought I was the only person left, but if a door to the unit on my right is open, then that means I'm not alone!

I put down my glass on the sink, and walked over to the door, I peered in, it looked identical to my unit, obviously. Except it was missing one key feature. I had a large pool. That was the perk of getting the middle unit, it's basically like a vacation inside.

I shut the door again and locked it. If someone else was here, they would need to let me know instead of just opening doors.

I turned around and started walking to the other side of the massive room where the bed was, there wasn't much to do here. Electricity stopped working, so after a device went flat there was no charging it.

Fortunately I had a shelf of books, so I sat down and started to read. I wasn't pay much attention to what it was about though, just giving my eyes something to do.

Then I heard a door open and shut. I looked up, someone was standing across the room from me. It looked as though he had come out from the little wardrobe section in the corner.

It was walled off with a door. And he was standing right Infront of it. His hair was a dark brown, and his eyes were a caramel hazel. I was taking in his features when I realised he was only wearing shorts.

My face got red as I covered my vision with the book.

"W-WHO ARE YOU?!? AND WHERE ARE YOUR CLOTHES??!!" I screamed, trying to cover the fact I was blushing

"Oh, sorry. I thought you knew I was here, I came in while you were washing dishes earlier."

His voice was angelic.. like a choir of angels singing in unison- what am I saying??? Who even was this dude?

"You can't just come into my unit unannounced, ESPECIALLY, when you're HAlf-NAKED!!!" I tossed my book at him, but purposefully missed as to not hurt him, "Who the hell even are you? I thought all these other units were empty."
