Filip doesn't usually listen to rock music, he could be labeled a poser by other people. Unfortunately for him he doesn't have aspirations like most people, except from his smoking theories that if you roll grass in paper you'll get high, obviously unsuccessful. And he's never been in love, well not genuinely. The closest he's been is throwing around the word I love you without really knowing what love he's talking about, but what if he lays his eyes on someone who can change that? What if he learns to love? What if his words bloom into emotion? Maybe in another universe.

Meanwhile, his best friend Simun really knows about love in a way filip can't comprehend.
"I promise you, pop, lenka is the one. We smoke, we cuddle, we listen to music together, she even liked my toothless Tyler durden drawing!"
"I don't know Simun...you're not her first and you have to at least wonder if you won't be her last."
Awkwardness. silence, slight annoyance and awkwardness.

"Filip...are you jealous of me? Are you jealous of HER?" Simun backed away a bit, grossed out at the possibility of his best friend since kindergarten having romantic feelings for him.
"N-no! I'm not gay...." Fillip stammers in full defence, offended Simun would even ask. But he knows deep down he's thought about it at least 5 times, and you really gotta ask, what started this...or who started this?

7pm. 31st of July. Fillips room. It's hard for him to wrap his head around the fact his ex girlfriend, Sara, is a famous rockstar now. She's recently done a Collab with Gerard way and the sound of the drums is giving fillip a migraine, is it the volume or the guilt? He thought leaving her was gonna push him higher but the comparison to a Gerard way collaboration and a.....Simun collaboration....makes him wonder who was the one that was really abandoned here. He left her to perish from his life and all she left was one little thing. A new found glory cd."
"Fuck....she left her cd here. Do I really have to go back and give it to her?"
The front cover looked intriguing, although his interest in music wasnt enough to get him flipping through the leaflet.

Catalyst.

New found glory.

He's never heard of it before, and after a while of pretending he's into alternative bands this is the first time he's been hooked. He's never been this hooked to almost anything except his cigarettes before. And he knew this.
"Just one look...."
He mumbled, opening the plastic case and met with the cd. The cd had a design on it that caught his eye immediately, and the sun shone right onto the disc like it was sent from the heavens.
"Hm? You know what I don't care if it's hers, one listen..."

Just one listen.
