The halls of the abandoned facility felt cold, either from the gaping holes in the walls left by the explosion Brair couldnt place her finger on it. Whatever it was, it didn't stop her. She silently made her way through the wreckage, flashlight in hand. "where is this stupid room!?" she muttered to herself as she stepped over a metal panel.
Brair kept walking though, trying to find the things she was looking for. Her footsteps echoed through the dark metal halls. After a few minutes, her flashlight goes out. "Agh! come on you stupid flashlight!" She exclaimed, hitting the surface of the flashlight with her hand. When that didn't work- she banged it against the wall.
Finally, the blasted thing turned on and she continued down the winding halls. The metal halls felt never ending. Hours went by and Brair was starting to get annoyed. Why couldn't she find the blasted room!? She gritted her teeth in frustration, thinking about how this was a waste of complete time AND-
She suddenly turns a corner, looking directly at the door. Brair quickly made her way over to the broken, mechanical door. "Finally- god that took FOREVER!" she said to no one in particular. She quickly reached the door and attempted to open the door but- Unfortunately, the stupid thing wouldn't budge.
"Oh For fu-" She examined, before the door slid abruptly open, causing her to stumble. "holy!" she shouted out before she caught herself on the wall. "gods can't this place have ANY normal doors?!" She said, annoyed.
She stood up and gazed around, settling her eyes on the broken down machine. It was a dingy looking thing nowadays, with its clear cylinder glass broken and metal frame rusting over, but Briar wasn't here for that. She walked up to the base of the machine and kicked open a half opened panel.
"Please let it be in good condition please be it good- YES! HA HA!!" She exclaimed as she pulled out a rolled up piece of paper. Inside the blue graph paper, held a detailed drawing of the machine above it. "Heh.. wow it's a lot more complex than I thought." Briar said, agitated.she stood up, clutching the blueprints in her hands. She was going to do this. no matter how hard it was. She would be the one to rebuild the machine, SHE Would be the one who did what F.D or the boss couldn't. She was going to make the cloning machine, and she WASN'T allowing room for mistakes.
