Episode 2

Eddie didn't come home for a week. HE spends all his time at the at the bar , drink and dance too much and even lets some guy get too close. But it all seems so wrong. He's completely exhausted and can't go home , but he needs to get out of here.

So he calls Jie to take him to Zhuzhui. He's been following hims incessantly his disappearance and know exactly where he was hiding. He needs a friend , and Rui is quite suitable , he is reasonable. Most of the time anyway.

The lock on the gate of the house is easy to break and he wanders inside. There's a tall guy there who looks familiar , but he doesn't look at him and falls straight into Rui's arms

"Rui , i

Ve been looking for you."

He groans so glad to see someone other than the people in the bar.

"How did you find me here?"

He asks and smells alcohol coming from Eddie. HE already knows that someone will be angry.

"I have my own ways."

Eddie is happy to fall asleep right here.But Rui pushes him telling him to get up. He tries to refuse , but eventually the grown man manages to force him to sit down. Against his better judgment he shares his beer with Eddie. For some reason he feels that he really needs it. And if he is guessing about the reasons , the most likely it is because of Chen Yi.

Bai Zongyi brings them some snacks , and when Eddie sees him a second time , he thinks again how familiar he looks.

So this is the guy who offered to buy him a cake , and look how it turned out.

"IT's you! You made me look like an idiot and butt in again."

Eddie says , standing up and rolling up his sleeves.

He's ready to beat this guy up for this , but Rui stops him forcing him to sit back down. The guy leaves them alone to have a drink and catch up , and Rui again wonders why he likes Chen Yi so much. For four years he yearned for someone else. Eddie persistently reminds him that much more time has passed , as if that makes the situation any better.

Eventually Eddie has had enough to drink and passes out , falling asleep on the table. Now Eddie has no idea what is currently going on in Chen Yi's head after his escape from the bar.

It took Chen Yi approximately fifteen minutes and thirty seconds to stop the car and turn around.

He curse throughout his furious drive back , his knuckles white from his tight grip on the steering wheel , his tries squealing as he took corner after corner too fast. His face seemed stone and would not flinch even if hit with a hammer.

Chen Yi hated that he had to turn around and go back , but he couldn't do it any other way. The sight of Eddie bending over Xiao Jie's stomach was so etched in his memory.

The anxiety he felt then seemed to burn through every vein in his body , making him want to want to kill the one who encroached on him.

Why? He wanted to ask and find out the truth from Eddie.

Why is he always lashing out at Chen Yi even though all he did was worry?

Why couldn't Eddie think for a second and take care ofhis safety?

Why... Why is he doing this to him!

All he wants to do now is shake Eddie until he become rational , until he promises to be careful , until he promises to stay close to him ,not to leave his sight , until...

It seemed as if something was twisting Chen Yi's insides into a tight knot as he recalled the moments of their quarrel that occurred just recently. Eddie's inattention. The way he refused and rejected Chen Yi care. He suffered the guy's attacks , he was hurt , hurt by Eddie's words when he continued to talk about Chen Yis feelings for their boss.
