I sighed as we keep walking this damn dingy path way, I notice the farther we got the smaller and thinner the trees became.
It also looked like some of them had been burnt in some way.
"And when I was telling him, hey you can do that, you'll get us all in trouble——he told me to shut the hell up and the went on to do it anyways" Zhen Lan exasperates.
"Let me guess, you all got in trouble?" Angelica snickers.
"Yes...I couldn't work there anymore so I told the owner that he was having an affair with his wife...I don't know what became of him but I hope he's 6 feet under" Zhen Lan rolls his eyes.
I actually find myself laughing at his story and snickering as well.
"You have so many stories, such an eventful life you live" I laugh looking at him.
"I wouldn't say that, I just seem to attract chaos" He shrugs looking at me too.
"Guys what the hell is that?" Angelica asks us seriously. We stop laughing and look ahead of us.
It's a huge fire but in the shape of something.
"Zhen did you do this?" I ask. "No way! I wish I could though..."
The once huge fire then spilts up into smaller fires and start running around and creating smaller fires. Some rush towards us and we run in different directions to get away from them.
"Ow what the fuck?!" Angelica manages to kick one of them and they all completely stop running.
We stop our movement and group back up as the small little flames stare at us.
The little things growl and form the huge beast they were before and scream at us.
"AHHHH!" We all run away as it begins to chase us through the path way.
"What the fuck?! What are we supposed to do?!" Angelica cries.
"I don't know!" Zhen Lan cries along side her.
We keep running as the beast spits fire at us.
I feel an arm wrap around me and pull me towards them as the brats swings its firey fist at some trees near me.
I look up to see Zhen Lan panting.
"Guys come over here!" Angelica exhales. We follow her and reach a clearing where there's small puddles of water.
"Oh water! We can put it out with this!" Zhen Lan exclaims.
"No...no we can't..." I sigh rolling my eyes at his brainless comment.
"What why not?" "Uhh because these are puddles and that thing is gargantuant, second your the only one with any powers and it conflicts with that thing" I lay out for him.
"Oh yea..."
I shake my head and walk around for a bit, I could hear the hissing of fire.
Hmm...maybe...those things didn't attack us until Angelica kicked one of them. Maybe I can get them to split up again and trip into the waters. But I don't even know if that'll extinguish them, I've never dealt with this before.
I seem to get my answer as the beats comes rushing into the clearing, stepping right into the multiple puddles. Nothing happens.
"Damm it! Zhen do something!" Angelica demands.
Zhen shakes but pulls out his charm and a blue fire lights his hands, he mutters something under his breath and releases fire balls at the beast.
It goes right through them but one hits them where they had touched the water and it screeches.
"I did it?" Zhen Lan stutters.
"Yea but I think I know how, Angelica let's go see if we can find a bigger water source, these aren't rain puddles!" I tell her. She nods and we go running.
Obviously the beast follows us right in our tail but I have an idea.
"Zhen I need you to use the use blue flames of yours again!"
"Seriously? For what?"
"The water does hurt it the thing but only when your flames make contact with it! It might be why it doesn't hurt to touch!" I explain to him.
He nods and we reach another clearing, this time there's a larger body of water, there was rain here from something that created this hole and whatever it was walked off into the clearing we just left.
"Hit that body of water!" I demand. Zhen Lan nods and tosses a fire ball at the water, its lights up into a sea of pretty blues and whites.
We heard the roar of the beats and back up.
It stupidly runs right towards us and into the body of water. It cries out and agony and I tell Zhen Lan and throw some more fire onto it.
He does so and soon the beast turns from fiery red flames to clam blissfully blue flames.
It shrinks getting smaller and smaller before exploding into tiny versions of it. I quickly step on one making it fade out——the other two follow suit and the beast is officially gone.
"Holy shit!" Zhen Lan exclaims slipping to the ground tired and shaken up.
"Wow Nii Nii, quick think you have there" Angelica praises me.
I smile and nod.
"Yea! I had no idea I could even do that!" Zhen laughs.
"I need to write about this in my book, so we'll have something to work on when we meet that mage" I tell them. They nod and we sit on the ground for a moment.
"Man...we aren't even that far into these woods and were already fucking the devils minions..." Angelica sighs.
"Yes...I knew monsters were real but nothing like this!"
"I wonder how everyone else is doing..." I mumble. The two nod in agreement and we all sigh in unison.

That's all for this chapter, I should be able to put out more this up coming week and weekend as I'm off work for vacation!
