Edward smirked as he stared down at her, he put his hand on her waist and pulled him toward him. She gritted her teeth and pushed him back. He bristled slightly but kept the cocky expression.
"Come on now Roman, you're an attractive woman, I'm an attractive man. You and I would make adorable kids." He smirked wider as he eyed her up.
"I am 345 you are 25, that's a stretch and you are not as attractive as you believe" she looked over at the kettle as the water was now boiling.
She swiftly moved to get it off the stove and placed it on a tray.
"You're already so domesticated" he took a step toward her, "you'd make a great wife."
"You'd make a great punching bag" she murmured as she placed the scones on a plate.
"Come on I can treat you well"
"I can treat myself well" she picked up the tray after placing the scones and some tea cups on it, "now have a good day" she walked past him heading through the door out of the kitchen, but he followed her.
"Are you sure you don't want me? I can change your mind and turn your world upside down." He smirked as he walked beside her.
"I would rather not."
"Oh come on, I'm a good guy"
"Mhm" she stopped outside the study door and pushed it open looking around the room for Rupert, "Rupert."
Rupert looked up at her, "Rome."
"Get your son, he's thinking with his head not his head." She walked into the room and sat the tray down on a table.
Rupert looked at Edward who stood in the door for a moment before standing up from his desk and walking over to the boy, "guess you need taught manners." He grabbed his ear and drug him out the door.
"Ack! Dad!" Edward yelped as Rupert walked him away from the study.
Lucifer chuckled and rolled his eyes. Rome sat up the refreshments from the comfort of a couch in the center of the room, typically where meetings take place.
"Comfortable?" Lucifer asked sarcastically while looking over some paperwork, not as drowning now.
Rome glanced at him with her icy blue eyes, "yes." She smirked.
"It wasn't a genuine question"
"Oh, I'm aware" she poured tea into the cups, "but I answered anyway, figured you want to know your couch is comfortable"
Lucifer narrowed his eyes, "you are a pain in my ass"
"Aww, glad I make you feel something your highness" her tone was mocking.
"Don't try to be cute."
"I am cute thank you." She smirked and stood up walking over to his desk with a teacup placing it on his desk.
"Debatable."
"That would hurt if I didn't own a mirror."
"Arrogant are we?" He leaned forward, on his hands.
"At least I admit it, unlike some royal arrogant king"
"Ha," he sipped his tea.
She smirked and walked back to the couch and plopped down on it.
