CHAPTER 33

"How are you feeling?" I sighed and intertwined my fingers with Jungkook's as he touched my face. How am I feeling? I still feel it so painful and I don't know how to explain this pain.

"Not so... good" I muttered. Then my eyes found the way to Grandpa who was still there. I think I fell asleep and just woke up. I'm glad that he's still here. I took a moment for myself and thought about everything that happened. The tiger attacked me and bit me harder. It was a painful and terrible thing to feel. Nayeon couldn't see the tiger, however, Ayaan and Miky saw it.

How can I explain these things now? It didn't happen yesterday night when Jungkook left but it happened this afternoon. I didn't think something like that would happen in the daytime. What exactly was it? Now I understand why  Jeongyeon said that she didn't see a tiger or anything. She was right, there was no way for a wild animal to come here but something was happening. Something is happening to me and I also don't understand what it is.

"Mind telling me what happened?" Jungkook asked me again. Yeah... he still doesn't know what happened. I let myself think about it for another few minutes and then nodded at him. I should tell him because he will find a solution for this at the same time, I'm glad Grandpa came at the right time. I think it was because of him, the tiger disappeared. If not, it would have already devoured me.

I said everything that happened to Jungkook. I didn't miss the way his facial expressions changed into something serious as I spoke. Looking at his face, I couldn't help but think that this was something serious that was going to happen to me and I was scared... I'm so scared right now. Am I going to die? I just don't want to die... Ayaan is small and I don't want to leave him, not only Ayaan but also Jungkook, how can I even think about leaving a man who treats me so well alone? I just don't want... I don't want to die.

"Alright... now don't think about it. Rest... I'll take care of it." Jungkook said with a smile but his smile didn't reach his cheeks.
Why do I feel like something terrible is happening with me but he doesn't want to tell me? If he thinks I would be scared if he says, he's right but still, I want to know what's going on and why this keeps happening to me. The first time I didn't get hurt but this time I got hurt and it was so painful.

"Wh- what's happening with me, Jungkook?" I had to ask him. He just shook his head but didn't answer my question.

"Please have a rest now, we will talk about this once you are recovered, okay?" What can I say? I can say or do nothing but agree with him. I nodded my head and closed my eyes. I felt sleepy and I wanted to sleep so badly. But the pain in my body cannot be ignored. I remember the doctor giving me the painkillers but still, this is so painful.

A week has passed and I'm recovering slowly. My wolf is giving me the full support to recover. She's healing me using every bit of her strength. I feel much better now. The pain I was feeling for days had faded from my body but the tiredness and the feeling of discomfort in the area that the tiger bit was still there and I don't know if those feelings would vanish sooner or not. I got up from the bed and left the room wanting to check on Ayaan.

He's been downstairs for a while now and didn't come to me. He wouldn't spend time alone without coming to me like this. As I went to look for him, I saw he was sleeping on the sofa... gosh... when did he fall asleep? I didn't even know and no one in the house informed me. I went to Ayaan and picked him up from the sofa. As I did it, he opened his eyes and looked at me as he giggled.

"What made my baby sleep on the sofa?" I asked him while kissing his face. He didn't say anything but giggled while hugging me.
How adorable my baby boy is. I took him up and placed him on the bed. Then I looked at his smiling face to see something that shocked me. My lips parted seeing his eyes.
