In the long lost city of Atlantis, lived the mighty and most powerful King Triton who ruled all of Atlantis, where the merpeople swam free without worrying about the humans attacking, when not for long at least they thought. On one calm night a ship was sailing across the surface of the kingdom, Calypso one of the royal guards saw the ship cast down their net.
"Well these humans have come to attack us again" he said with a bit of fear as his eyes widened.
"The King won't be happy about this" he continued and swam off to the Castle to warn the King.
While on the ship, Gabrielle and her husband James the captain where watching the sea."Dearest there seems to be rough wind tonight" Gabrielle said with a worried look on her face,
James looks at her and says "dont worry my love we will be fine" he then turns back to read his book.
"Dear I have heard of merpeople that live in these seas they do not like humans they could be the reason the sea is rough, they could-----" James interrupted her.
" We will be fine it's probably the tide let go to our cabin and rest it's getting cold" he put his hand on her shoulder and took her inside.
"Don't worry we will be alright" he took her inside and layed her on the bed, he gently rubbed her cheek and she soon fell asleep.
James went back up and saw the sea "this doesn't look normal anymore" he said worried
"I just hope that story was a myth" he watched until he saw something come out of the water "Oh no"
At kingdom of Atlantis
"Your majesty Calypso came to see you" a guard says to King Titon
"very well bring him in" the King replies the guard and soon is accompanied by Calypso the watchman
" your majesty I spotted a human ship and the cast their net at the entrance of the kingdom, I think they are trying to capture some of the sea creatures your majesty" Calypso said bowing with a bit of fear in his voice knowing fully well what his King can do.
"Hand me my trident it's time to stop this not one of my subjects will be slaves to those humans" the King said with rage and swam too the surface seeing the boat, he was close enough to attack but far enough in order for no human to spot him
He whispered something to himself an then a spark of lightening shot out of his trident and made its way to the ship causing it to break.
On the ship James saw the lightening coming towards the ship and ran down to the cabin and met an awoken and scared Gabrielle.
"What's going on" she said shivering out of fear she ran to James and hugged him tight.
"Don't worry we will be okay let's get out of here" he said lifting her up bridal style the and ran out to the deck of the ship Gabrielle still held on not letting go.
James ran and deployed the emergency boat and placed Gabrielle and gently pushed it away from the ship.
"No I cant leave you" Gabrielle said in tears.
"Don't worry I'm coming just sail to safety I need to get something inside" James said holding her hand as the embraced each other in a hug.
Gabrielle stayed their she was not going to leave her husband behind just as she saw him emerging the lightening hit the ship in his exact location, the force was so strong the it broke the boat Gabrielle was staying.
She tried swimming for dear life but it was not easy as she was not a good swimmer as she gupled water out trying to avoid choking she sprained her ankle and then slowly drowned deep into the ocean
