MY LIFE BEFORE I REMEMBER

I was born in New Zealand, Auckland, North Shore Hospital on December 25th.

Many people say I'm lucky because of that.

I'm not,  I just get my birthday presents and Christmas presents on the same day (do you call that lucky?)

My family vists Korea every two years or so. Before I remember,  we went to Korea two times.

One of those times, I mistook another lady as my mother who was sleeping in the airplane and roused the whole plane (I did that three years back, again).

On another time, I had an accident on the seat (put your hand up if you have).

My mother  says I got  stung by a bee the last summer I don't have a memory of.

We moved once, from one side of Auckland to the other, my mother said I cried buckets that day and kept mum from sleeping that night. I had thrown unusal tantrums the next day.

I don't remember my sister being born.

According to my father, I read an Korean book in English, an English book in Korean and a blank piece of paper in both languages.

I spoke to the wall. I spoke to the door. I spoke to everything around me, including kitcken cabinets.

I liked a boy in kindergarten and held hands everywhere, even at nap time (I mean, who hasn't?). My father has a solid proof that that is unfortunately true.

I danced like a crazy monkey who had alcohol in the middle of the night.
