LOGAN
I knew Tori knew what I had done when she began charging at me on set for the movie Leaving It All Behind. I was never proud of what I did, but I couldn't take it back. I didn't think she would be taken advantage of. I thought Tori could hold her own a little better than that.
*Smack*
My cheek stung from Victoria Manson's hand slap. Her face was red with anger, and her arms were crossed. All four bodyguards stood behind her, their arms crossed, too.
"How could you?!"
"I-"
"No, I don't want to hear anything you have to say. I despise you and the person you have become. I thought I knew you, but I was wrong. I want you off set, and don't ever come near me again," Tori said.
"What? You can't kick me off set! You aren't even the director!"
Hank, one of the directors, came forward with Nolan, Tori's manager. "No, but I am, and Tori is right. Get off set and don't come back here. You will never work for me or anyone I know again. You're done for Mr. Brookshire."
I frowned and glared at Tori. "You stupid bitch! It's all your fault!"
TORI
I hadn't expected Logan to charge at me after I confronted him, but he did, and he knocked me into the half-broken kitchen counter on the set of our scene that we were supposed to film today. I fell back into it, wincing in pain as my left forearm was largely sliced open.
Oliver and Daniel had Logan's arms behind him in seconds. They escorted him out with security as I held onto my arm to try and stop the bleeding. The cut was too big, but Theo came to the rescue with a large towel.
"Here, I'm going to tie this around your arm to try and stop the bleeding. We've got to get you to the hospital to stitch this up."
"I'm supposed to film the last few scenes today," I said.
Sam walked up to us and helped me up from the floor with Theo's help. "Tori, I think we can wait another day for filming. Go get stitched up."
My head began to spin, and I gripped Theo's arm. The blood loss was starting to affect me quickly. "Theo," I mumbled.
"We've got to go, Sam. I'll call Nolan to update you once she's been seen."
Theo scooped me up and carried me to the black SUV. He sat down in the back with me, applying pressure to my arm as Oliver drove to the hospital.
I felt like I was fading. I kept blinking, trying to keep my eyes open. The sight of the blood soaking the towel made me worry. Was I going to bleed out?
Theo lifted my chin and made me look at him. "Hey, you're going to be fine. It's blood loss, and that is all. I don't think it hit anything important; otherwise, you would not be awake. Breathe."
I inhaled and exhaled to the emergency department. Once we were there, Theo carried me in, and I was attended to immediately. Do you know why?
My picture was plastered all over the TV screens. My new movie with Sam was being discussed, and all eyes were on me. I was as famous as I was when Logan's cheating scandal was put on the news. No one cared about that. They cared about my movie; now, several nurses cared about stitching up my arm.
I was in the emergency department for three hours, and it wasn't because stitches took that long. I couldn't count how many nurses wanted my autograph or even a picture, but there was a lot. I had to say no, though I promised to return when I felt better.
