Gianna Rostova
I sprinted into the house as fast as I could. I changed into a pink dress with a nice pink fur in the hem. I put on some white shoes and a white clutch. I refreshed my make up ran out of the house. Well, as fast as I could go in heels that is.
I saw Matteo standing outside and he looked me up and down, "You took your time, amore,"
7:00PM, I came here on the dot! I couldn't have been that bad and even then, he told me minutes before we were supposed to go.
He lifted his wrist and briefly examined a heavy looking gold watch in his wrist.
"Well, thanks to your early notice, I got home late and wasn't able to change and do my make up fast enough" I say trying to match his tone.
He made an annoyed looking face before opening the door to an expensive looking car and gestured for me to get in.
I held my clutch to myslef and lifted the side of my dress so it was easier to enter without tripping.
Matteo gets in and sits in the drivers seat, once the car starts moving I turn to him.
"Where are we going?" I ask
"A party."
Vague as usual, but I nodded anyways.
The ride was so awkward, I glanced around the car and wanted to scold myself for stealing glances at him.
Sharp jawline. Brown eyes. Perfectly fitted suit.
As we neared the venue, the party was in full swing, there were rich people left and right but I also I recognised the place as where Camilla's new job was.
I walked over to the bar where she worked and she looked surprised to see me.
"What are you doing here?" She asked excitedly.
"Matteo brought me here, I don't know why though."
"Are you kidding? You do know Matteo owns like close to every property in the city?"
Camilla stared at me dumbfounded, I'll admit, I didn't know much about Matteo or what he did but Camilla made it sound like it was basic information so I decided to just play along.
"Oh! Yeah I do know, sorry I just...forgot?"
Camilla looked at me suspiciously but then her eyes widen and she looked behind me and widened in shock.
"No fucking way!" She says.
"What?" I turn around and my eyes felt like they were about to rupture and bleed when I saw Noah.
Noah and I had been friends because his mom was the cook in my father's house when I lived there, but when he asked me out but I politely declined and things got awkward. We haven't spoken for a few months and I didn't know how he was going to react when he saw me with a fiancé.
He met my eyes and I pulled them away fast, unfortunately he walked up to the bar and leaned an elbow on it.
"Gia? You look beautiful, I love your dress, where did you get it?" he compliments.
