A pressure that's thick and unseen hangs in the air with great tension. The tension is settling in, as the battle is now only 1 short day away. In one short day a young teenage boy will find himself fighting for his life. But not just his life alone, he also fighting for the billions of lives in the magic realm and the human realm. How can Zach fail this fight? He has it all to lose, not just his life but his family, friends, and of all Hestia. A half blood girl who he just met. But even so he feels the empty void of pain in her heart. And Zach knows the League of Sages caused her oppression. What of her justice if the chosen one falls? All Zach will leave behind if he is to fall would be a world in ruins. And Chosen One or not the world is in ruins enough. The loss of this battle would mean ultimate suffering in damnation. Zach lays awake in his bed. His thoughts are like ocean waves on a stormy night, wild and incontrollable. He leaps out of bed and graps his robes and wand. The amulet Merlin had given him lay on his nightstand. It glowed a light blue aura in the dark. He walked out onto the Castles green fields were the sun was just appearing over the horizon. Cotton candy clouds hung low in the sky and looked heavenly pink. The grass was wet with dew and to Zach all was peaceful in the crisp moringing air. A light breeze brought with it the smell of honeysuckle. Zach began to ease his troubles by starting today's training session with peaceful meditations. He began to lose himself in temporary peace. It engulfs him and washes over him like a calming wave of charged energy. A soft golden aura began to glow from him and that aura spread around the field. The golden aura spiraled, twisted and turned. The energy continued to do so going in and out of Zach. Hestia stood behind Zach at the gates of the castle. He began to rise from his spot on the ground and with a single hand he thrust a ball of gold up into the air it faded into silver sparkles. "I think I'm ready." Zach said as Hestia walked over to him clapping slowly. "I talked to Merlin this morning." Hestia said. "We both decided you need to spend your weekend relaxing rather than training." She said. "Zach looked away from her and off into the horizon. "It's okay Zach, Merlin thinks your ready and if he thinks..." "It doesn't matter what Merlin thinks." Zach said cutting her off. She grasped his hands and let a blue warming flame escape her fingers. She then leaned in and kissed him. "You'll be fine." Hestia said once more. Zach had given in, the weekend will be spent with Hestia.
She had just the place in mind, a cabin in the middle of the woods surrounded by beautiful vegetation as far as the eye can see. They walked on a dirt path leading out of the heart of the village. It took them maybe 15 minutes to walk there. Hestia grabbed the rusted iron knob on the door and they walked in. "I didn't do much to the place." She said. She wasn't lying inside the cabin moss had grown on pretty much everything thing and cobwebs owned vast corners of the wooden cabin. "As the chosen one you can use spells in your favor as well." Hestia said. She handed him a piece of parchment paper with a spell scribbled across it. "It's a life spell." She smiled. Zach returned the smile and whipped out his wand. "This room's no good to me, make it look as good as can be so mote it be!" Zach said and a golden flare escaped his wand and within an instance the room looked like it went back in time. The dull and dirty floors turned into a nice polished stained oak. The moss and spider webs were gone and a leather couch with a dark oak coffee table stood by a window. A chandelier with candles attached to it hang from the ceiling. And bookshelves lined the room with reading material for ages. On the coffee table two glasses of wine were magically being poured. "Aren't we a bit young for wine?" Hestia giggled. Zach grabbed her hand and lead her to the couch. He toasted his wine and Hestia toasted her's "Not tonight" he said.
